Neat printer. But, I can't get it to feed Avery card stock forms, nor can I find any reference to such forms on the Epson website. Additionally, Avery doesn't address what Epson printers to use or avoid. Hummmmm.

This unit is a very good unit and I use it as a second unit. My other unit is also an Epson. The most used attribute is to make photos and CD disc printings. It's print both sides feature is also great. Not as handy if tou need to change paper during a session.

I've only had this printer for one week. It was easy to setup for wireless. I set it up at the opposite end of the house from the router and it picked up the wireless just fine. Its pretty quiet when it prints. I haven't tried scanning yet or photo prints yet. I chose this Artisan over the 810 because the scanning bed is more flush with the outer edges of the unit while the 810 has a big lip in front which would make it hard to scan something greater than 9 inches wide (like if you wanted to scan a photo attached to a 12x12 scrapbook page you can't lay it flat on the scanner. The 810 has some more features than the 710 that I would loved to have (fax. document feeder) but I just couldn't get over the recessed scanner bed. The 710 comes with an extra black ink cartridge, some ultra premium 4x6 photo paper, and a printable CD which is all really nice.

Let me begin by saying the employees at Epson have been fantastic throughout my varied associations. This machine makes a noise subsequent to finishing its work--but the noise comes maybe 5 mins later. This may be due to some WI-FI technology. It's no big thing, but . . . Also, loading the paper is not as simple as the previous Epson printer I had; moreover, it periodically sucks up 2, 3 pieces per printing. Not the end of the world by any stretch, but nevertheless not tantamount to the level of personal service I get from the same company. And there you go.

This printer has all the features I wanted, WiFi networking, a seperate paper tray for photo paper, and automatic duplex printing. WiFi setup was easy, and works very well in our home office. Printing is fast, and the copies are laser quality.
I'm very happy with the printer.

Love this machine. It prints quickly and quietly. Setting up the network is a bit tricky but easier than the 700. The print and scan quality is outstanding. Type close to laser quality and photo reproduction better than lab. The overall build of the machine is a step above the 700. It seems a bit more sturdy, with the exception of the tray the paper extracts to after printing. That still seems to be a bit flimsy. I think it would be easy to break it. This is my 6th Epson printer and by far the best. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a low expense printer. Ink costs for all Epson's are high. In order to get the most out of your cartridges, prior to installation shake them until you can no longer hear any liquid. It will greatly extend the life of your cartridges.
