I bought this printer to use at work for printing cds. It works great. I've owned about 5 different CD printer models from Epson in the last 8 years. This is definitely the best.
It prints twice as fast as the Photo RX580 model. It also no longer has a seperate cd printing tray. The tray is built into the printer itself.
I haven't printed on paper yet, so no idea about that. But the dual tray it has looks promising.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Printer was purchased to print dvd labels and I can't begin to say how great it does this job.
It beats Lightscribe hands down.

Ink replacement

I'm quite disappointed with my printer. If I runout of one color, it won't print anything. Not even just plain black. Very inconvenient. Also these ink cartridges cannot be recycled.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Disapointed in Artisan 710

I have owned two Epson printers C-88, When it came time to replace it, I upgraded to a Artisan 710, My wife does a lot of cards and printed her own envelopes. She is disappointed that she is not able to print the envelopes on the 710.

710 All in One

Love the unit.
Purchased for both regular paper printing and CD/DVD printing. Very fast and good quality.
Only problem I have had is running Vista and connecting with USB. Off and on communication is lost with printer requiring reboot of printer or reconnecting USB cable.
Downloaded v 6.61 driver and hoping this will help.
Still love the printer.

This will make the 4th Epson printer I have bought and I have always been pleased with each of them. The 710 is an excellent printer for the cost. Keep up the good work on quality printers for an affordable price.

A Must Have

The Artisan 710 Printer is a must have for home, work or school. It has all of the latest features in a printer and it is super user friendly. I usually have to read all or most of my owners' manual to understand when and how to trouble shoot my printer, but not with the Artisan 710. It walks you through the steps right on the printer screen. In short, I'm simply loving it!!!!

I am most pleased with my Epsom Artisan 710. The quality of printed pictures is excellent and very quick - In addition I use this printer for all my color presentations which always turn out superb
