I am thrilled with my new 710 printer. It's fast, the quality of the photos matches the excellent quality of my Epson Picturemate printer. I do a lot of art journalling, printing and copying in color and making my own greeting cards, etc. I am an artisan...this artisan printer is fabulous...love the vivid setting, etc. I could go on and on. It was easy to set up...worked perfectly from the get go! I have always liked Epson products and will continute to buy them. Oh yeah, I liked that there were full printer cartridges in the box and an extra full black cartridge.

I have used Epson printers for years in several different locations and I have always been pretty happy with them. I do a lot of photos and had been told that the Epson is best for that purpose.
It is the first time I have set up a wireless and it was easy.
It is quiet and fast and the quality of the photos is beautiful.
The ability to load 2 different papers at one time is great.....no more hopping up and down to change paper!
The reason for getting a new Epson was because I managed to pull it off the shelf with the USB cord. It wasn't pretty!
The wireless was a big draw for me but I'm so glad it happened because there are so many improvements in the 710 that I am thrilled at having. Love it!!

The printer works fine. THE OPERATING MANUEL
Fails to describe how the CD printer operates or even where
it located. I spent an hour looking for the instructions
on how to operate the CD printer . Please include the instructions in your manuel

This thing is hard to learn to use. Way too complicated, can`t even do it easy with the instructions in front of me, and worse yet, it`s so slow, I`m never sure if I`m doing it right without waiting and waiting seemingly forever.

Epson Artisan 710, Just Excellent!!

I am a professional graphic designer and photographer. I use an Epson scanner at work and I said that if given the opportunity, my next scanner was going to be an Epson, because of the excellent scanning results, fast and quiet. I have an iphone, so having the capability to print from my phone to the Artisan 710 is a snap. Quiet and fast. I also love having the individual ink cartridges, because in the past I've had another brand, (which will remain nameless) and it seemed every time i turned around I was buying ink cartridges. A definite deal breaker. Having Wi-Fi access is great, accessed right in to my home network and Epson software is compatible with all my high end Adobe Design software. I can print from Photoshop and Indesign without making any major adjustments. Also I like having the option of putting in my memory card from my camera and printing. (I haven't tried that yet). I have an Olympus camera which uses two types of memory cards and both have slots available in the Artisan 710. Another reason for purchase. I also like the CD printing feature, which is so great and fast, man I printed 60 CDs in no time flat. And the quality was excellent, for sure. Hardly used any ink too. My client was very pleased. All in all, I am very pleased with this purchase and it was on sale too…Oh and one more thing, it also let me charge my iphone without using a USB port on my computer. Did I give this printer a five star rating? YES! I'm out.

Much improved connectivity package over the Artisan 700. A great feature including the duplexer in the package. Still the best low cost photo printer I have ever tried.
Still not a big fan of the paper tray. Still awkward loading paper but it seems they've improved the pickup mechanism.
Not a revolution but a great evolution.
