Good Printer

I have only had the printer for a few weeks and it is always ready to go. The ink seems to last longer and is more efficient than my other printer (Epson Stylus Photo R320) which failed on me one day due to the ink port not working any more. This new printer is the replacement and I am very happy with it. I will not buy any other brand of printer. All the printers I have had has always been Epson!

it was not what I was looking for, but I took a look, and made the purchase, once installed, I decided to just go ahead and get an other, at a much better price too. Very easy to learn, and apply. I personally would prefer a machine with much bigger ink tanks, all of them. The machine I am happy with.

As mentioned before, extremly painless process to order. Received it in two days. Easy to install even with Windows 7. All functions work as expected. Have used it quite a bit and ink still at top marks.

Artisan 710

I bought this all-in-one printer to replace the Artisan 700, which I broke by tugging too hard to remove stuck paper in it. But I liked the 700 so much that I decided to try the 710. I do not need a fax feature. This is a handsome machine and is being used wireless. Setting up the wireless was easy. My only problem was setting up the drivers for Windows 7. The CD that came with the printer did not supply correct drivers and so the printer started to print gibberish. But from the Epson website, the correct drivers were downloaded and everything seems fine. I have not used the scanner yet. I did notice that the printer picks up more than one sheet of paper when printing but these papers were the printed gibberish papers that I used to make sure everything was ok. The colors that print are gorgeous and dry as soon as printed. I am an encaustic artist and I do scan and print paintings. I like this printer very much and intend to try to fix the 700 also.

I bought this printer recently, and all of sudden it prints a blue line every one inch. I've tried everything, including reinstalling software and print cleaning.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Wonderful printer - this one replaces my Epson CX8400 which decided after less than 2 years that it didn't like any ink that I put in it, even if it was Epson ink! That printer is now in pieces. Hoping this one lasts a little longer. So far loving the quality, speed & features!
