We have just printed our first photo with this printer and it turned out great. I am looking forward to all the cool things we can do that we couldn't before. Having the wireless option is great, too.

Nice printer

I bought this unit because I need to print on DVDs. It does that nicely. Color pictures look great and I just used it as a scanner - no problem. We were able to set-up other computers to print via the router fairly easily. I would recommend this unit.

Outstanding printer. Got it mainly to print labels on my
cds. Am now enjoying many other features including
auto duplex printing. Excellent photo printing-fine
detail and true colors. Also-thank you Epson for the
wonderful software! Other maufacturers that I won't
mention should take software lessons. Out of the box
and up and running is a half hour! Obviously I am
a happy owner of my new 710.

it is easy to set up and use with the 6 ink cartrges it prints excellent pictures. ithink the price is very reasonable. i love the wi fi as i have 4 comp.

I just purchased my second Epson printer and I am thrilled with the quality of the photos that it prints. The colors are vivid and the automatic correction is wonderful! I am not technologically wonderful but the instructions are very easy to follow!!!

Best Printer Ever

I orderly adore this printer. I love everything about it its nice looking . Everything about this printer is good except that the printer quickly wastes the ink which is one big problem. I barely received it last week and I do not print pictures out I just write papers essays ext. but my ink is know less than half of black ink I do not frequently use it and know one else does use it other than me. So I would recommend it if you can waste allot of money on ink but any other situations like me I would not recommend it .

I've avoided buying a multifunction for years, feeling that you were forced to compromise and get a box that was okay at all of the functions but not great at any. The Artisan 710 proved that thinking wrong. So far, it appears to do a very nice job at all of the functions it incorporates.
When the printer arrived I was taken aback by the size of the box. It's much bigger than I expected but in reflection, it's as big as it needs to be to accomplish the things it does and there's not a lot of wasted space. The print quality (both copying and printing) are very good. On top of that the human interface has been well thought out. The flip up control panel is very nicely done and works great.
I debated buying the 810 instead but in the end decided that I didn't need the fax (hey, it's the 21st century) nor the document feeder.
One negative, I'd like to see the software redone to conform to the Macintosh guidelines. The Epson Scan software and the Print CD software both are ports of Windows applications and really show it. They don't have the clean look of typical Mac applications.

I just purchased the 710 2 days ago so haven't played with it to much. But here's what I know so far. Easy to set up( I don't have wi fi) Chirps burps and chuckles a little, but nothing to annoying when turned on and as it waits for use. Good job printing. Love the paper tray instead of loading in the back. My other that quit after 6 years was An Epson RX 620. This of course is faster. Biggest problem i have is that my camera card doesn't fit because its old and they don't make them anymore. Had to get a new tower 2 months ago so it doesn't fit that either. guess now I have to get new camera. printer good. pictures bad
