Good print quality

I love this printer for the quality of pictures and also CD printing. It is dramatic.
I still am trying to solve some of my wireless problems. My wireless network is a little flaky, cutting in and out. I finally connected a USB cord to print my CD labels. I always struggle with wireless, so I'm not blaming the product.
For those not as challenged as I with the wireless problems, I'm sure you will love this printer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Artisan 810 Excellent

The Artisan 810 all-in-one that we got for Christmas 2010 is our 3rd Epson printer in 15 years. We have always relied on Epson for our home printing needs and find that with each printer our expectations are being met and exceeded! The Artisan 810 is the fastest ink-jet printer I have ever seen. The installation and wireless connecting were effortless. The photos that it prints are fast and accurate in detail and colour. The automatic scanner/copier feed is a very nice feature. The software that comes with it is very good and in minutes I had created and printed background and text on a printable DVD. The scanner and copier interface can be used on the printer or through your computer. Excellent all-in-one and we are very happy that we purchased the Artisan 810.

I've only had my Epson Artison for about a week, but so far I am quite pleased with it. The scans are quick, quiet and great quality and I love that it has the option to scan directly to pdf too. The photo printing is very clean and quick too. I def want to give it 5 stars but I gave it 4 just because I am having a little trouble printing borderless with design projects on regular letter size paper (not photos...I figured out how to do that) and I'm getting a few lines show up on card stock paper too, but I'm sure there is a paper quality setting that I just haven't found yet. I love the touch screen and the paper feed tray!
Set did not take too long and was very straightforward. Looking forward to using it more!

Good printer but some problems

I purchased this All-in-one less than a year ago and loved it until it recently stopped working. For whatever reason it says that the paper tray is not in the printer and won't print. I have checked for jammed paper, any obstruction in the path of the paper tray, any parts that may have broken off, and have even replaced the paper tray with one from an Artisan 725 (same tray). Now it's just a boat anchor as far as I'm concerned. Out of warranty and it would cost more to have it sent and repaired than it would to buy another printer. I'm not sure I'd buy another from Epson.

Disappointment

I had owned an Epson previously and was very happy with it, but I am disappointed in the Artisan 810 All-in-One printer. My biggest complaint is the paper tray. It is very flimsy and always feeds an extra sheet through the printer. Also, the output tray is even flimsier and has to be pushed in every time you want to add paper. If I could return it, I would most definitely!

This thing amases me!!! I only have been using it for 2 days now so imagin if i waited a week to right this review!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fast clean brialiant design and functionability. Easy setup. Everything worked first time i tried. Did i mention fast 20 second to scan and print photos yes this is total time , prints text sheet in 3 or 4 seconds awsome qulity as well. I absolutly love this thing. Wireless printing with no usb is great hooked all my cpus and laptops in 1 hour 5 units in all so setup is very easy if you follow the direstion , 3 computers with Windows XP and 2 with Windows 7 . I upgraded from my old Epson 320r but still use it as well and its 5 years old still like it and will use it as well. If it's tough as my old one its a steel. Best AIO I've ever had

Having started in the printer world many moons ago with some discount printing units (at one point I was buying new printers instead of ink replacements for cost reasons), I have recently moved to higher end inkjet or laser printers and in the past 5 years have been content with a good competitive models, thinking that they were all I would need for my residential purposes.
A family member who dabbles in photography told me years ago about the quality of the Epson printer he has, but being it was a professional model I doubted I could afford that quality. WRONG
I purchased the Artisan 810 two weeks ago and can’t tell you how much it’s changed the printing patterns in our house.
This printer prints WISYWIG from the source. No more telling granny that the orange shirt is actually red!
I read somewhere that it was not the easiest printer in the world to set up…wrong. I spent a half hour setting it up and it’s now networked wirelessly in the house and it’s the default printer for all the units in the house – 30 minutes seems long to some, but I had never set up anything on our home network before, I think it’s great time actually!
All in all Epson, I am delighted with my purchase. Thank you

This is first printer in six years. We were amazed at what it can do, faxing, photo coping, two side copies, multi page feed and much more. The color is great and the fact that its wireless is just great, the printer does not have to be next to the computer, and I can print from my note book.
