Easy setup

Was up and running on my wireless network in no time. First prints were excellent. Setup was really a breeze. I am looking forward to trying all the other features. Love the touch screen too.

Photo printing from the 810 is excellent - couldn't ask for anything better. Pictures are rich, crisp and just like prints from a photo store. Scanning and document printing are also very good. I have had problems with the document feeder. This is the second 800 series printer I've had where the document feeder has broken and no longer works. The printer is now out of warranty but because the print quality is so good, I'll just deal with the feeder issue until it is time for a new printer.

Paper Feed Problems

I've had this printer for about a year and have had problems with the paper not feeding properly. It feeds multiple sheets instead of one sheet and jams the printer. If I try to print on presentation paper it won't feed at all. The printer is good in all other respects but I'm getting rid of it because I spend hours trying to print one greeting card. This is my first Epson printer and it will be my last.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

An Excellent Tool

I love my Artisan 810 Series. It is an excellent tool for home use as well as small business use. The printing qualities of both photos and text are unbeatable. I would not trade it for any thing. It covers all of my needs and requirements.

The setup for this printer is just about as easy as it gets. It's also very nice-looking and doesn't take up too much space on a desk. I began using the printer for photos -- and they looked fantastic!! Commercially produced photos don't look nearly as good, so I was very impressed. As I have read in other reviews of Epson printers, it certainly does use an extraordinary amount of ink. That is apparently the trade-off, since the other brand printers I've used haven't gone through nearly as much ink -- but the photos don't compare in any way, either. It all boils down to which is more important. My suggestion would be to do as I did -- order extra ink cartridges along with the printer so you have at least one extra of each color. It helps!

Was very pleased with the printer, scanner, copier and fax machine. It is very fast. Love it because I can use one machine instead of two. I can't wait to get a cable so I can set it up for wireless.

This unit was a real surprise at how quickly it was setup both in my wired network and wirelessly to a netbook. I have had many Epson printers in the passed and was always very happy But when I changed to Win 7 64bit my tried and true Epson scanner was no longer usable forcing the need to update my scanner or an all-i-one, so after careful looking at many reviews I settled on this 810 that fits all my needs and then some. So far this unit has done nothing but impressed me. I can't wait for the need to use the fax part of the system everything else works flawlessly. Great product again Epson.

I got my printer/fax/scanner as a gift. So far I have not had the opportunity to try all of its features but the print quality is excellent. also I like the fact that it is wireless so I'll be able to print from my laptop as well.
