The beauty of the LOOK of the printer is quickly surpassed by the 'beauty' of how well it works and the quality of the product that's printed.
I am SOOOOOOO glad I bought this printer - it replaced an Epson that I still have and really liked, but this one is AWESOME !!!!

I needed a new printer and have always relied on Epson products but decided to look at others. Seeing no clearly superior product, I decided to stick with tried and true. This proved to be a good decision.
Delivery was quite prompt. I had no difficulty setting up the unit and really like the wireless printing feature. I have used it quite a bit now; the basic printing, scan, and copy functions are all excellent. The hi-res color printing will knock your sock off. This is a great, easy to use printer.

Previously I had an Epson 220; but it lacked fax and scan capabilities and could not be hooked up wirelessly. Thus far, the 810 has been great. My wife can print from her laptop wirelessly or do photos w/o turning her computer on. I have scanned and faxed in addition to doing pictures from my desktop which is hardwired to the printer. All such functions are simple and easy to perform. In my opinion, the Epson inks are simply great and I love the photos it produces.

Great printer. Does everything and does it well. Set up was easy and now everyone in the house can print wirelessly without having to turn my computer on. Prints documents of course, but also really nice 4 x 6's and 5 x 7's and printing on CD/DVD's is a nice touch.

I purchased the Epson Artisan 810 on line. It does everything they says it does. Epson stands behind their products...the printer had a faulty touch pad and the company replaced it. Love the wireless and the scanning and fax options too.

I bought this printer as a second photo printer (my main printer is a Photo R2880, which I love - but it's in a different location). I am delighted by the print and color quality of the 810, and it has the easiest scanning mechanism and software of any scanner I've ever used. So far so good, and very highly recommended! BUT I have had terrible, terrible difficulty with the paper feeder - which jams, which doesn't pick up more than one sheet at a time (and yes, I do have the correct paper weight selected in Photoshop ...) - and so far can't give it a higher review. The paper tray, moreover, is very flimsy and badly made - and I suspect is easily breakable.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What can I say? All the printers (3 so far) I have ever owned are Epsons (I have a Mac)...and this one is the best by far. Great looking and just a great printer/scanner/fax all around. No complaints. Will have to see what the ink costs will be though. That is the only drawback to these printers...
