Big printer does everything

I purchased the 810 first because of the great price and secondly because I wanted to replace an old photo printer and stand alone scanner. It sounded like it could handle the job so I selected it. I was surprised when I opened the Large box that the printer was indeed that large, don't underestimate it! It didn't fit in the space I had my scanner so I put it in another room since it is wireless. It really does do everything. I am very impressed so far. The color is outstanding! The help videos are also very useful since next to zero instructions come with the printer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The Artisan 810 produces a better print than any other printer that I have used and that is the basis for my rating of 4 stars. While it prints smoothly and quietly it is clunky and noisy as it prepares to print and following the print job. The paper tray does not remove and re-install as smoothly as it should; it and the outfeed shelf
seem to be where the compromise was made to achieve a price point. This particular unit is a replacement for another 810 that had issues with the touch pad and I was fully satisfied with the way the warranty exchange was handled.

Love the automatic 2-sided printing. This is the main reason I purchased this printer. Haven't figured out to set up the WiFi and Ethernet networking yet but I will with some help. So far I am really pleased with this printer.

I was replacing my good old Stylus R300, which I loved. Still too soon to be in love with the Artisan 810, but I like the ability to send docs to it from different computers wirelessly.
The Print CD/DVD function is even better than the old printer's. The scanner works well. So far, so good.

Short review is simply that it performs as advertised and I could not be more pleased.
Also like "signing on" with Epson for support and FYI along the way.

I bought this from Epson.com. Arrived very fast and everything undamaged. Setup for the printer was so easy and straight forward. Absolutely no problems. Prints great and photos look fantastic. I have not had this long but so far I would recommend this printer.

epson 810 all-in-one printer

I'am not a master computer wiz, but it was very easy to load all the systems into my computer. I also have a KODAK ESP7 printer and it is slower printing and has paper jams all the time. On the CD & DVD printing most of the images are for CD's, is there a place I can download ones for DVD images, or is there a way to make my own images.
