I like this printer (I bought two of them) but I would never have purchased them if I would have known you must have all of the toner cartridges in the printer with ink to print a black & white document. This is very frustrating in a business environment when you run out of one of the 5 color cartridges and the local stores don't have them. You are out of business until you can order and receive the "light magenta" just so you can print a black ink document. It's a good photo printer though.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

cannot cancel fax

I find if I put in a wrong fax number I cannot cancel the call. I press "cancel" and nothing happens. I have to wait for it to retry for about 4 times before I can dial the correct number. Very annoying.

I HAVE BEEN USING EPSON PRODUCTS FOR YEARS BUT THIS IS AN OUTSTANDING PIECE OF EQUIPMENT. CLEAR INSTRUCTIONS MADE THE INSTALLATION A SNAP. EVERY FUNCTION IS PERFECT. WOULDN'T BUY ANY OTHER BRAND.

The ease of my recent purchase was very pleasant. My printer came WAY sooner than I anticipated. As a matter of fact, it arrived on the day I got my email shipping notice from Epson. I set it up, easily, and did a test print. Fantastic color and clarity. I am so looking forward to putting it through it's paces to see what it can do. Thank You, Scott.

My epson 600 and 610 worked when they were supposed to work. The 810 is very touchy, complicated and frustrating to set up. All i have been getting the first 2 days is warnings and errors. Not a workhorse. More like a puppy.

I just got the printer delivered 4 days ago. Setup was a snap including the wireless connection to my network. I am still exploring all I can do with this machine , but the color prints are brilliant and speed impressive. I am no stranger to Epson printers, so far, I am pleased .

I enjoy the Artisan 810 very much. Print is clean and quick. Scanning and copying work well. The paper output could use some work, when the paper comes out of the printer it tends to get scrunched up and crushed, not a very neat solution for such a sophisticated printer. My old Epson cx5400 did a much better job of paper output than this one.
