A Great Printer

Yes I have been in the other Camp for years, I got this printer the other day and wow what a Great printer, from the start it was easy to install and it is fast. An the pictures you print are great. and it also prints on cd/dvds wow how cool is that. sorry it took me so long to find this brand. also ink prices look good too.

New Epson Artisan 810

I bought the Epson Artisan 810 printer yesterday so I could finally have a wireless and more up to date printer than the one I had (which was six or seven years old). I had a few minor poroblem setting it up to run wirelessly but I got the kinks worked out and now it works perfectly. I have already tried it out several times and it is working fantastically. I love my new printer and I hope to have it for many years to come.
I would recommend this to a friend!

why did it stop working?

The printer worked great for 3 weeks.
Now it won't work with the wireless. The printer has the wireless connection established on the control panel, it keeps telling me it's offline.

At this point my recommendation would be NO.

Hi: First of all had the Photo R200 it was a great printer had it about eight years. For the money it was a great deal. It was time to up grade. Called Epson they where a great help!

Great scans for older pictures

I had a box of photo albums my mom had given me dating from the last two centuries. I bought the Epson Artisan 810 since I had heard from some artist friends that, for the money, it was about as good as you could get for photo scanning.
They were right, images as clear as the photos themselves, as well as an easy machine to use. I would put the photos on the scanner while doing something else, come back, do it again and the images are amazing.
Buy this if you plan on doing anything but sheer business. I am sure it does that too, but if you want to create something, the Artisan 810 is the thing.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Having just received my printer, it is a little early to write a review. At this point, I can say that the printer was shipped promptly and in good shape. From earlier reviews, I expected the software process to be time-consuming. This was not the case. I did not time the unpacking process, but it went smoothly and easily. I have not printed out any plain copies except for the initial Epson print. This looked fine. I got this printer for the photo printing, however, and, so far, my pictures look great. The speed is what is so impressive. I waited a long while for my Epson nx400 prints. The Artisan's prints are nearly instantaneous by comparison. I need a lot more time to read the manual and make needed adjustments. For now, Epson printers continue to satisfy.

The set up was very easy. I'm a senior so that was a good sign right there. I bought my 1st Epson printer in 1984
and have always been pleased with their performance.
I'm a little concerned with the plastic paper tray but I intend
on being very careful with it. Looking forward to all the capabilities of this printer.
