Well, I am trying to use it now and I am very frustated because I cannot figure out how to use the software to scan to OCR. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Great all-in-one, definitely like the paper tray that holds both regular 8x11 and 4x6 Photo paper so you are ready to print either item that you are working with. The sale price on this definitely made it a great bargin. Had to call for help on setting up the fax as I was not getting my voice phone calls and was going straight to fax. Got the help I needed from Tech support. Everything is working fine.

Epson Artisan 810 All-in-One Printer Review

I love this Printer. Very easy to set up and to connect to my home network. Quick to respond from wireless pc. Only issue was that my router was set for wpa2 setting and the printer uses wpa. Make sure you have the router set to mixed or wpa. Print quality far surpasses my Cannon Printer. When I scanned a photo and reprinted the photo was much sharper and better colors. Fax works great also although I will not use this feature much. Controls are very well placed and easy to use. Would recomend this printer to anyone looking for a multifunction Printer with Wireless.

Love my new Artisan 810

This printer scanner is wonderful! I have printed out photos that equal the ones we get printed at the local print shop.
Makes copies within seconds of pushing the button to copy and photographs, well blink and the 4x6 prints are ready.
So far everything I have asked the printer to do, it has performed without a problem.
Love it!

Pretty Nice Printer

Epson Artisan 810 All-in-One Printer is a pretty nice printer. It is speedy. Pleasant to look at as far as printers go. Prints very nice documents and pictures. It also makes nice quick copies. I haven't put it through all its paces yet such as CD printing but so far I'm pleased. My only negative is the difficulty in setting up the wireless. I was not successful. I'm geeky but apparently not geeky enough to print without a USB cable or the help of a PC techy. Oh well! Still like the machine

Artisan 810 - First Impressions

The printer was well packed and although it looked like fedx may have dragged it behind the truck for the last mile everything inside was in perfect condition. Setup was very smooth and went by the book, taking about 30 minutes from unpacking to doing a test print. One of the first things I wanted to check out was the famously flimsy paper tray. It really isn't as bad as some people make it out to be, I mean you use it to hold paper how strong does it need to be. And for all the complaints about it being flimsy (again, just the paper tray), I haven't heard of it breaking on anyone. Tested a double sided print (again, I've heard at least one complaint that this was complicated), it took about three seconds to make the settings change and voila, perfect. For a photo test I used a brightly colored carnival scene (shot at 10mp) printing borderless on 4x6 epson premium glossy, using the default photo setting (not Best Photo), and it came out great. The details are sharp and clean and the colors are bright and at least as well balanced as they were on the screen.
I'm very satisfied with the quality, and for the money it's really an amazing machine.

pros: does nice prints and fairly quick
cons: do not like the trays for loading paper, had some software issues, and wish I could change size of scans.
