My Epson Stylus PHOTO RX700 gave up the ghost after 5 (?) good years of wonderful service. I had bought this new Artisan 810 to replace it and did so. I set it up to use wireless and printed with it for 4 days. On the 5th day when I had an important print job for my wife who was to teach Sunday School the next day, the printer would not print. I stewed with it all day trying to fix it with the online help but could not. So I went to bed. At 6 AM I woke up remembering that I had taken the connection cable off of the RX700 and connected the printer via that cable to do the printing successfully. So much for wireless printing.

I just setup my new Artisan 810 and haven't used it much yet, printed a few pages and made a copy. But, it was easy to setup. Everything worked just like the instructions said. I was most amazed that the WiFi link came right up. I just entered the 26 character password and IT CONNECTED! simply amazing, no errors, no confusion, no cables to deal with. The copy quality is great. Now I have 4 devices (2 printers, copier and fax) that I can use elsewhere or donate. The home office is far less cluttered and I'm happy. John

Set up for Mac

So far so good, set up for imac was painless. Both USB and Wireless setup were intuitive and simple to install. Scanning works beautiful and had no problem with Snow Leopard. I have printed out several pictures using Nikon preferences and have beautiful skin tones at last and black tones far surpass my last printer. Now time will tell if prints hold up and do not fade. Placed an SD card in provided slot and it immediately opened up iphoto and uploaded to that software. Wow I did not expect that. Good job Epsom. Would purchase this item again.

My new Epson Artisan 810 all in one printer arrived today. I already have four Epson printers and an Epson scanner. They all work great (I use three computers) but there is something special about each one that it does better than the others that keeps me from letting them go. The Artison 810 is special to me because it can do automatic two sided printing. Great for making your own greeting cards. The Artisan 810 has two paper trays to hold either 4X6 or 5X7 in one and larger sizes to 8 1/2 X 14 in the other by the handful. I just finished printing a bunch of family pictures and because of the "fix photo" feature the prints came out more beautiful than on the screen. I intended to use the 4X6 as a "proof" to see if the color was correct before printing a full size image, but it's not really necessqry. Every big photo I print comes out "PERFECT". Thank you for making such a great "All in one printer".
