POWER UNDER THE HOOD

All of the features of Windows XP Media Center is built in this printer with enhancements added. I started with the 800 then added three 810's all have extended ink units added. Produces real 8 page per min B/W and Color. Also over 30 pages per min when copy are made. Epson makes real printers NOT ink eaters like some other manufactures.

I am just setting up my printer; however, it seems to be a very good printer. I think I am going to love it. I just wish the ink cartridges were a little larger to last a little longer. This is not that important though. My main concern is the speed of the printer and the print quality, and so far those two features are great.

I REPLACED A RX500 WITH THE 810 AND I HAVE TO SAY THAT THE 810 IS A MUCH BETTER UNIT IN THAT IT IS FASTER FOR TEXT AND USING IT AS A NETWORK PRINTER I DON'T HAVE TO LIMIT USE TO ONE COMPUTER, I CAN ACCESS IT FROM ANY WHERE IN THE HOUSE WITH ANY OF MY COMPUTERS. I DO A LOT OF PHOTOS AS I AM INTO ANTIQUE AIRCRAFT THE 810 DOES A VERY GOOD QUALITY
PHOTO. INK LOOKS TO BE A LITTLE MORE EXPENSIVE BUT GIVEN THE QUALITY AND ABILITY TO LAST A LONG TIME THAT MAY BE A WASH.
I WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO A FRIEND OR ANYONE I HAVE BEEN USING EPSON PRINTERS FOR OVER 20 YEARS AND HAVE NEVER BEEN DISSATISFIED

My Artison 810

I absolutely LOVE it. Being disabled makes walking and shopping difficult, so I have started doing as much of my shopping online as possible. I was in need of a new all-in-one that also faxed in/out and printed GOOD pictures. Since my 'old' printer was an Epson, I went to the Epson store. I love the EPSON printers because each color is an individual tank as opposed to all colors in one tank (too much waste for me).
My new Artison arrived only 2 days after I had placed my order. I didn't have much luck getting it up and running by reading the directions ... but that's probably due to part of my disability. When I finally gave up and called Tech Support (thank you EPSON for 2 yrs of free tech support!), they had me up and running for every function in less than an hour. Very polite guys!
Everything works perfectly, even the 2 sided printing! I would highly recommend any printer made by EPSON...and if you run into difficulties getting it set up properly, call Tech Support. It's well worth the peace of mind.
The ONLY possible thing I would change is a tray that holds more paper at one time than 30 sheets.

Amazing Quality

I couldn't be more pleased with the Artisan 810. It prints exceptionally great photos and it does great with card stock. I would like the ink to be less expensive, though.
This printer scans and restores photos well. I had a faded photo and copied it in restore mode and liked the end product.
This printer is fast and very functional for everyday use. Do not use any ink but Epson. I ruined my last Epson photo printer by using cheaper ink.

Epson Artisan 810 All-in-One Printer

I had looked at this printer for a long time, but could not justify buying it because my other one still (kinda) worked. My "other printer" was also wi-fi, which I loved, but it had its issues with scanning wirelessly, not to mention an annoying pop-up asking me to join their services to help improve their product.
Eventually I got tired of the problems and purchased this printer. I am really, really glad I did! The set up was a breeze and it works flawlessly. I was a little hesitant about individual color cartridges, but that quickly faded as I started using it. Also, one nice surprise was the paper tray that tucks neatly inside the printer. The tilting touch screen is easy to use and adjust, and the paper catcher tucks nicely away when not in use. (You can also connect this printer with a USB printer cable, but the cable does not come with the printer.)
This is an awesome product that prints fabulous results. I would recommend this to anyone trying to decide on a printer.
