This printer was very easy to set up. Several options for printing your images. The colors and sharpness is fantastic. I printed 200 4x6 and about 20 8x10 the first day I set it up. It does like ink though. Hope the 2nd round of ink last longer now that it is primed. Haven't used many of the other features yet but i bought it for 4x 5x and 8x printing and it shines in those categories.

It took me a few days because my PC was too old to use the Artisan but now I have it up and running and it does amazing pictures and doc. A family member had just passed and I was holding pics on my camera to print and I sure wasn't disappointed. Like he is still with us. You have a repeat customer as I loved my Stylus 6400 before this printer.

Artison 810 Printer

I purchased this printer a few days ago. I was looking for something that would print good quality pictures for family events, quality documents and I was really interested in the CD label printing. The scanner and ability to copy were bonuses. Let me say that the set up for me was a little frustrating. I read the instructions carefully and loaded the CD. To make it easier for Mac owners that have Snow Leopard, skip the CD and just plug it in and let the Mac find the appropriate drivers on its own. That might drive you crazy if you are like me and always read instructions. Once that was solved I tackled learning it. Documents, copying and scanning were all a piece of cake. With picture printing it is a little trickier for quality prints. Each application: Iphoto, Aperature, and Photoshop have different printer menus and popups. I had to experiment a bit and hunt for the drop down menus. Make sure every setting is correct - paper size and type, print speed etc. And each application has different menu style. I just played for awhile, labeled pics on the back until I figured it out. Once I learned my way around I was very happy with the quality. The CD printing was a success on my first attempt. I recommend using the tutorial videos in your My Epson account. They helped a lot with the CD printing. So far I am very pleased with how this printer is working.

Windows 7 installation problem

For anyone who experiences the installation CD "freezing" during installation, just cancel and go to epson website to download the approprate driver and it will install correctly. This printer installed easily and completely on Vista computer, but would not install from CD on my windows 7 computer. Once I downloaded the driver, it installed and functions beautifully. I really like the print quality and speed of this printer.

Everything is good except one thing. I brought it because I can print from computer wifi as well as iphone. However, when I print it from my iphone it's only printing photo, not document. I guess EPSON can fix the app. Only downside..... Other than that, it's great. photo quality is good.. Go for it.

I would definetly recommend this all in one printer to my family and friends. Very easy to use and set up. I love the fact that I could set up my lap top to print without having to plug and unplug a cable to the printer. Plus I can use my desk top computer the same way. (I am all about convience) I have only had it a few days now, but my son has one at his his office and he loves it too. I haven't printed any photos or graphics yet, but my son said they come out with beautiful, rich color. I take alot of photos and print to send to my mom or enlarge and frame. I also like to make birthday and special occassion cards.

The Epson Artisan 810 is amazing, its wireless, a copier, a fax, a scanner. My kids are going to WSU and they have laptops, now all they have to do is do a paper and hit print, it doesn't matter what room they're in, out come the paper. We are so pleased with this printer and we are learning more about it every time we use it.
