Excellent and Fun Printer

I have been enjoying the cool features on the Artisan 810, like being able to print on my CD's and DVD's. I had read in some of the reviews when I was considering the Artisan 810, that it consumes a lot of ink. I have not noticed that at all, in fact I'm still on the cartridges that came with the printer, and have been printing like crazy. I also love the wireless feature, I have it hooked up to three of my five computers in the house. One Mac OS 10, one Windows XP, and one Windows vista, set up was easy on all three. This was a great buy and a good decision.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Paper handling

I have owned two RX620 AIOs and decided to "upgrade" to the Artisan810, but am shocked that it will NOT feed greeting card stock, business card stock etc. It fails to feed on almost everything except Epson photo paper and copy paper. I agree with others that the paper tray is flimsy. NOT a flexible machine for people who like to do artistic things with photos creating a custom card as the output. My previous Epson experience lulled me into believing I'd be able to do all the same things I did with my RX620, only better. Not so. I have LOST functionality.

I have been very impressed with my new printer so far. The installation was extremely easy by following the step-by-step instructions and everything worked the first time. Printer functions perfectly and produces great copies. The color is spot on and the detail is amazing. Th Wi-Fi connection feature is fantastic. Now everyone in the house has a printer. I think that I received great value for my moneyand would highly recommend this all-in-one by Epson.

I just purchased this printer on September 14th 2010 & couldn't be more satisfied! Incredibly easy to install, even for wireless, many functions to use & very quick! Couldn't be happier!

Printer produces great quality photos and printed material and I have control of the quality... Wireless capability eliminates the need to turn a wired computer "ON" for printing...
Installation went flawlessly with my three networked computers... Follow the instructions by not letting WIN 7 install the drivers and you should have no problems...
I had no problems other than the investiture of time... Patience...
I consider this printer an upgrade from my old printer with many additional features and cheaper replacement inks...
I'm glad I purchased it...

This is a great printer. It was easy to set up and use. The only thing I don't like is the output paper tray is really cheaply made and I don't leave it out beacuse I am worried that it will get broken off. Also, you cannot push on the touch screen very hard. When you have it out in the viewing position, it is very unstable. It could have used a steadying arm or something under it. Other than those 2 things it is a very good product. Prints, faxes, copies, scans very well. The ink cartridges are a snap to install.
