I love my new Epson Artisan 810 printer. The price was right, easy set up. The 2 sided printing is great, great photos, fast. I love the cd & dvd printing, no more paper pictures. I realy like the auto document feeder. I would recommend this printer to a friend. Thank you Gary

810 Great Printer

Best photos ever. Very intuitive interface for photo printing. I do semi-professional photography so this is of prime importance.

Minuses
Documentation really needs improvement. A COMPLETE manual should be in the software in the HELP menu - not on line. Interface for copy, fax and scan isn't very intuitive. Lack of a preview for copies and faxes is also very annoying.

Superior, Fast Photo Printer

I wanted a good photo printer - one which would not require me to do a lot of editing. The 810 is a superior photo printer – and I've has may, including the Canon Pro 9000. Setting up wifi connections with both Mac Snow Leopard and Tiger was easy. Quality of scans and copies are excellent. I am one satisfied customer.

Does not print business cards

Please keep in mind that this printer has a tough time printing business cards. Especially the Avery brand. Unlike previous models, the 810 provides no manual way to hand feed the sheets in the printer to reduce the amount of work to complete this task. The paper must be inserted into the tray one at a time in hopes that a print will emerge. Sometimes luck is on your side, sometimes not. If you require this type of printing task, this is not the printer for you.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It's a high quality machine. When I purchased the Epson 810, I also got the matte paper. I wish I have gotten the glossy paper instead. But, as far as the printer; it's awesome!

Surprisingly Versatile

The Epson Artisan 810 proved to be just what I was looking for. It is reasonably fast, it will reproduce almost anything I want to print. The quality is amazing, and the number of tasks it can perform is more than I expected. I am pleased that I purchased the Artisan 810. If it lasts as long as my previous Epson printer, I will be especially happy.

HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY IF I HAVE ANY NEGATIVE IT IS THAT THE INSTRUCTIONS THAT CAME WITH THE PRINTER WAS VERY VAGUE ON HOW TO PRINT ENVELOPES
