Fantastic Printer

I have been using Epson printers now for around 8 years. I have tried others I will have to admit, but Epson is truly the best printer and will not change. This one does it all, this one prints discs also, I have another one that does, but the speed on this printer is exceptional. It has a sleek design and even does duplexing, meaning it will print the front and the back of a sheet. You can load the tray for paper and photo paper at the same time. Great unit at a great price!
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is my second Epson printer my fisrst is still in use by my kids, The Artisan 810 is so incredibly well made, well designed and easy to use. They did it right ! Everything you could ask for in an all in one and then some, spectacular, prints, scans, dvd/cdr labeling and an easy to use control panel , great software and support that is second to none.You can even charge your cell phone/mp3 player while you work! Thank you Epson !

Perfect registration on transparencies

This printer does more than produce fantastic photos. It can even print on ink-jet transparencies (something Epson says it doesn't do). I use them as masks for etching printed circuit boards. When I run the transparencies through for a second pass to get more opacity, the registration is spot on. I do have to tape a sheet of white paper to the back of the transparency to make this work.

Great All-in-one!

Very easy to setup on my home network. Installed the driver on all home computers without any problems. The printer is lightweight and doesn't take up too much space on my desk. I can't give it a 5-star rating because it is a little flimsy. But that is how all printers are being made these days - all out of plastic. All functions work great and I got a great deal on the price too!

the unit is relatively easy to set up w/mac leopard, i haven't tried w/xp or vista as yet. the only issue so far is that duplexing only works from the preview mode. tried selecting the 2-sided printing option without previewing and wasn't possible.
despite all the features, epson doesn't seem to have an app for wireless printing via android devices for photos and documents (supports apps for iPhones & iTouch and only for photos).

Great Color

Excellent quick printer, inkjet does not smear even when highlighted. Only complaint, no drop in paper feeder. You must pull out the drawer and load paper. Only one drawer will hold legal and letter, so if you print both sizes you must change drawer each time you change paper.

I just bought this 810 a few days ago and I just got it set up. I have printed some text and a few pictures in different sizes, which is a good feature. So far I like what I have seen and received from this printer. I have a different model Epson on a second computer and it has worked well these past 5 years.
I would recommend this to a friend!
