I attend online college e-books are used. It helps out a lot to be able to copy and read and refer to later without looking it up all over .My children copy for school, and down load old scanned pictures for facebook.I have faxed documents to my college.This tool is fun and easy to use.I first picked it because I compared the price of ink on the other models.Ink is what we always have to replace hitting the pocket over.Making the use affordable.I recommend get one.

Very, very good, but not fabulous

The 810 is my fourth Epson printer and, easily the most useful - in that it is an all-in-one. Pros: Excellent text quality, photo and graphics are spot on! Faxw/speed dial is real convenience; duplex (automatic two-sided) printing flawless, CD printing w/the built in label designs is easy to use and CDs/DVDs look great, Automatic document feeder works like a charm.
Cons: small paper capacity-why can't it be designed to hold a whole ream? Clumsy paper reloading, seemingly flimsy paper tray construction, and finally SMALL ink tanks - why can't Epson provide a large external ink supply system instead of leaving it for suspect third party vendors? Contrary to their fears of losing ultra profitble ink sales, they'd build a loyalty locking in a purchaser for life! Warranty service is friendly, fast, knowledgable.

I originally bought the stylus 1400 because I didnt need the fax and scanner. All I wanted was the possibility to print 13x19 poster and also the cd print option for our band. After trying out the stylus 1400 and noticing the color wasn't exactly true to my monitor, I decided to try out the artisan 810. First cd printed off made a world of difference in color and I knew not to look any further for a printer to keep. I figured I could pass on the printing posters and get that done elsewhere to keep the amazing print quality of this Artisan 810. The cd print program you get with this is easy to use. The touchscreen pad is great and easy to explore. If you are looking for something to do only 11x7 printing and smaller this should be it. CD printing is top notch and everyone has loved the cd's we hand out. I also recommend the silver inkjet cd's over the white.
