Great printer

I was a little concerned about buying this printer because of the comments on how flimsy the paper tray was. It's solid enough for me. Another thing I like is the wireless scanning. And the DVD print feature is a lot faster than the old Epson printer I had.Good all around printer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Fax problems

Was only able to fax two documents before fax circuitry inside printer failed and seized my house phone line. Not realizing it was the new 810 printer, the local phone company was called and diagnosed the problem to a short circuit in the home wiring which turned out to be "fixed" by unplugging the 810. Since Epson phone support is closed today, their website was utilized for the trouble report. I will report on my resolution experience once the 810 is up and running again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent Printer

I recently bought the Epson Artisan 810 after some extensive research and I'm glad I did. It's a great printer.
The feature I like most is its ability to print directly on printable CD media; which most inkjet printers can't.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This printer prints absolutely amazing quality photos -- this is the main purpose for this purchase and I am thrilled! -- Depending on what you are printing some of the ink goes faster than others, but the 6 cartridges makes this more efficient than other printers. Overall -- very happy. Now I want one for home!

I haven't used the 'Fax' feature or the 'Double sided print' feature yet but the rest of it, so far, is an execelent machine... I have 3 other computers hooked up to my network and they all use this machine without problem...I bought it at a very good discount directly from Epson but would be worth it at full price...

Great pictures and copies -but --

Pictures and copies are great. However the pull-out support for copies does not work well. Papers (if more than 2) tend to fall off and the entire mechanism is rather flimsey when trying to pull it out or return it to the closed position.

Great Product!

Print speed and quality are excellent, but the most significant improvement was in the scanning mode. The scanning speed seems to be almost as fast as printing, with the file creation very intuitive. I have acquired two additional Artisan 810's for our small company.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This printer is awesome.... easy to set up with the wireless feature, up and running in no time. The pictures look great. My 9 year old grandaughter has been printing pictures on it for hours, it is so easy to use. I used the scanner and restored color on an old photo, it turned our real nice.
I would recommend this to a friend!
