Money well spent

I found the Epson Artisan 810 all in one to be extrememly easy to install and operate. The ability to print two sided was an unexpected pleasure. The quality of photo prints is unbelievable to say the least. I am also impressed with the large display screen and modern design of the printer. The technical support team responds immediately with assistance when contacted. I would strongly recommend this printer to anyone interested in getting the best quality in a printer for a very reasonable price.

After years of great service from our prior printer-the Epson CX7800 All-in One we upgraded to the Artisan 810 All-in One. We have only had this new printer a short period of time and I am still learning the nuances of this printer. It seems easy to use and is basically a matter of just selecting the correct button on the digital control panel-and the job is done instantaneously. Needless to say we are thrilled with the purchase. Having had the 'customer loyalty' discount when purchasing makes this customer even happier. I will stick with Epson for sure. Thanks Epson...

High quality photo printer

This is a high quality photo printer, and also does a nice job printing text. It prints very quickly, as promised. My only problem with this printer is the paper tray. The paper is difficult to load since it is inside the printer, and I never know if I am about to run out of paper. Also, if I don't get the paper in the tray EXACTLY right, it jams very easily. I have had many paper jams in the few months I have owned the printer, very frustrating!

I have really enjoyed my new printer. The more I learn about the features, I am even more glad I made this purchase. I especially like the very easy two-sided printing. I do have defficulty periodically with the on screen touch controls. When I use a very "light" touch it works much better. Overall, I am very pleased with it.

Great scanner

Have been using this scanner for about two weeks and love it.
I still have lots to learn about it. Wish it had a negative scanner and a photo feed but otherwise it is a great scanner.

A disappointment for my main needs

Maybe some tech folk will see this and offer some sugggestions. After many hours of reading consumer reviews I decided on the Artisan 810 because I do a lot with photos/graphics. Feature-by-feature, I have yet to print a photo (on glossy paper) that doesn't have a horizontal ink smear at the top and sometimes at the bottom. Regular text items on plain or bright paper seem to print okay. I can scan from the computer but not from the touch screen on the 810. I tried the "copy" feature once and the original jammed in the feed. I installed the fax but haven't yet had the need to try it so I can't comment on that. Being on a Social Security income, as I stated earlier, this investment was a disappointment when comparing my experience with what I anticipated.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

nice printer

I have not owned this machine very long so I don't have a lot to say. So far it does everything I expect it to do and the pictures are good. Ink is going to be a factor, due to the cost. I'll have to see how long they last. It is fast and dosen't make a lot of noise. The only thing I find is, when printing a lot of half fold greeting cards, you have to keep removing the paper tray to rotate the paper. Most printers I had in the past you just lift the top and slide the paper in. This one you have to keep sliding back and forth and you have to be very carefull not to jam it. I am going to work it hard and maybe write another review later.
