Well first and foremost I shall say I purchased this simply for printing to DVD's only. I have two older model Epson all in ones that prints to disc and I feel as if I went from a 90's model to a 2020 model! Love it! You put the disc in and it prints exact every time compare to the older model where it wasn't. The quality is much better as well.

It performs as advertised and better. Simple setup and awesome product. This is my 4th Epson printer product and I believe they out perform the competition hands down.

Not for Plain Paper

When my Epson Stylus 4800 died, I bought the Artisan 810 as an upgrade. It has been a major disappointment. I wanted to print copies of short stories with color illustrations on paper that is in quality somewhere between generic office copy paper and the premium quality Epson papers. Prints made on medium quality paper made especially for color inkjet brochures are very dull on the color illustrations and the text is far from crisp or very black, even on best quality settings. Worst of all, when exposed to moisture, the ink runs all over the place. The advertising claims that the printer creates prints that are water, smudge, and fade resistant but there is no indication that this is only true on Photo paper. The images are beautiful on photo paper, indeed, but now I have to either print my short stories on lightweight premium 2-sided paper-if it even exists- or else purchase another printer that uses Durabright Inks when I already have a functioning printer with years left on an extended warrantee for equipment I will seldom use.

Excellent printer

Fantastic printer, very good quality and options. The 2 sided, auto feeder and trays works nicely. Printing from an individual picture in "my pictures" very, very slow. Display very helpful, with all choices lighted up. Copying from SD cards, very nice with choices. Excellent design, space needed correct for uses. Ink very expensive, should give a break to cust.

Used for about six months, now.
Pros - The machine makes good copies of photos and does a good job of correcting old photos. It also does a good job scaning. Ink cost and usage is reasonable.
Cons - The ADF has started jamming every time - can't be used. It is a pain to load paper and misfeeds a lot. Won't pick up label type paper.
I don't care for the touch pad controls, but his is a personal preference.
I have used a lot of ink jet printers for business and at home. This printer is very flimsy and I couldn't recommend it.

This is a very nice printer, but I have had issues with paper feeding since I got it. I currently cannot use it because the paper continuosly jams. I have put heavy cash into replacing the pricey ink cartridges, only to have a fully loaded, non-functional computer. Not good!

Disappointed

Disappointed with the overall function. After 2 weeks of use, the auto paper feed for coping and faxing broke and...........this machine takes approximately 30 seconds to begin printing! Does print well and like the idea if individual inks but that's about it...........
