Probably the best printer I have ever owned.
Ink a little on the pricey side and a little harder to find but worth it. Love the touch screen. Would like a bigger paper holder.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Execellent for Photo Printing

Our family purchased this printer in November 2009 to print photos, reports, and professional brochures. We love it! We can sit in our kitchen and conduct our business and print to the printer downstairs while enhancing our photos from a wireless location. The photos on brochures, reports and other professional documents come out so clean, it looks like you sent them out!!
Thanks Epson!

Bought the Epson Artisan 810 for my son who just loves to be on the computer and print what he creates. He has just scratched the surface of this printer's capabilities and I love it too. Highly recommended.

I was not sure about the touch screen button pad and found that I did not like it. I was very unhappy about the window that would appear on my monitor while printing and needing to close it to continue working.

This is the best printer that I have ever had. I have purchased a lot of other name brand printers, however NONE of them have given me the satisfation of this Artisan 810. I love the wireless Wi-Fi and Epson's customer service is outstanding. It is great to know that a company is set on making your purchase a good experience for both YOU and their company. Thanks Epson.

4 Star Epson Artisan 810

I read many reviews on this printer and found that they were about 96% correct. This really is a fine quality printer for the money. My past printers were good, but the photo prints from this Artisan 810 are stunning.
There are some caveats. Past reviews have mentioned that the paper holder and exit tray are a bit flimsy. They are. One does need to take care to tip toe around these items. One just has to consciously show some care when dealing with the paper tray. You do not want to bang things around or force anything. This is not your office machine made to take a beating. This is why I gave this printer a 4 Star rating instead of a 5.
My other disappointment has been not being able to find any Epson 5 x 7 glossy photo paper. My local Staples does carry the 4 x 6. Sellers of photo papers have said to use only Epson papers for best results.
Overall I am very happy. The quality of the photos has just "wow'd" me. I was also happy with being able to buy this printer directly from Epson. In my case shipping was free and the box arrived without a scratch on it. If you follow the simple directions you'll be printing fantastic photos in about 40 minutes.
If I were Epson I'd work some more on this basic design and improve it. This Artisan 810 has the right name. I am pleased.

Best of Both Worlds

My wife and I purchased this printer to replace an Epson R260 which we used to print discs and a Brother all-in-one used for general home office chores. We have a video transfer business and we print a lot of DVDs so when our R260 died, we were left in a bit of a lurch. Although our Brother all-in-one still worked, we decided to consolidate all of our printing into one unit. We have been very happy so far, however, we've only been using this printer for three or four months. It prints DVDs much faster than our R260 and it doesn't require a separate tray which is very nice. The rest of the printer features work very well...print quality is consistent, it is quick, the display is very nice and easy to use. I haven't scanned a lot, but what I have done has worked well. I love the networking capability...my wife has a PC and I have a Mac...no problems whatsoever. I would recommend this printer to anyone.
