Excellant unit. Many uses once you learn the interface.

A fine machine

I checked out several brands before choosing the Artisan 810 and am delighted I made this choice. Set-up was a breeze, cold (first) prints were great, and the resolution from photo printing was better than expected. Tight colors all around. And yes, it certainly does print in b&w, and if one takes the time to learn it capabilities it can print partial pages...even tone scale can be adjusted. When I'm ready to upgrade it will be with another Epson.

best picture print for home use some option is enoing
like it dose not read my picture flash drive from picbridge
to my PC.Also it should be more EZ to change photo copy size whan making copy from scaner or printing from PC.I hope thay improve in future printer.

My Wireless Wonder

I got tired of having to hook my printer to my laptop every time I wanted to print something. So, I made a very wise decision to purchase a Artisan 810 all in one. The wireless feature works great after initial setup. I can send and receive Faxes easily from my laptop or save precious time with the doc. feeder. Print Quality is great as usual and I look forward to many years of service as my Epson R220 printing DVD's & CD's has provided.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I've had my Epson artisan 810 for a few months now and have been amazed at the amount of clarity and technical features it provides in a single device. It is worth every penny.

Best photos ever

I bought this printer based on my past experience with the Epson R200. Didn't dream an inkjet could ever produce a better print. Hoped this 810 would do as well. I also needed one that could print on CDs/DVDs. When I first got it and tried to use some photo paper I had in stock I was disappointed and thought something was wrong with the printer. Then I tried the Epson samples that came with the printer. WOW! I couldn't believe what I saw. I used to do the darkroom method so I had a magnifier for viewing negatives. No visible dots!!!! I could see the baby fuzz on my grandson's cheeks. Needless to say I purchased some Epson papers. Wireless was a snap to set up. Panel is big and bright and easy to use. I haven't tried everything it offers but I did print on the CD it came with. Perfect edge to edge. I am very happy with the output of this printer. Hope it lasts a long time and is easy on the ink. It obviously needs a more absorbent paper because it puddled on some other (good papers) I was able to purchase some paper at 1/2 off from Epson. Also, prints dried to touch very quickly and after drying fully they look and feel like lab prints and do not smudge when handled.

Perfect printer. It does photos and printing perfectly, it's also WIRELESS which I love. I didn't know it was going to be so easy and print so great!
