Finally, an All-in-One I respect

This is the first All-in-One that truly is ALL IN ONE! The only con is that it ships with standard ink cartridges and quite a bit is used to prime the printer. Given the cost of Epson inks and that the printer needs to be primed, they should ship with high capacity cartridges. Beyond that, this is one superb printer. This is the first affordable printer I have seen with all the features I was looking for: excellent archival quality photos, very quiet, direct cd printing, duplex printing, two paper trays, WiFi, LAN, Fax, and a document feeder. Color reproduction is better than the Epson R280 that it replaced.

I have yet to print a picture on photo paper,so otherwise it works ok.It does as some people mentioned jam up on occasion.If I had a business I wouldn't buy anything this cheap anyway,duh. EPSON makes the best printers you can get as far as the "drivers":if you know what that means,go.This one apparently had a few glitches in manufacture,so It was "refurbished".For the price,it does a lot of different things ok. I printed a picture on regular paper,I wasn't impressed with the color either.But I've had a lot of printers,and None really impress me.they make copies,ok.It Faxes ok,copies ok,makes 2 sided copies ok,and ink costs too much for it.It's an Epson.They need to charge less for their ink.You can use "other ink" the warranty is void,so what.Nuff said. It works fine.

I just installed this printer so my review will be somewhat limited for now.....
First of all, right off the bat, this was the easiest printer install I have EVER had! I mean, I followed the instructions and everything worked the first time! The software "print test page" did not work but I tested it by printing something else and it printed right away...must be a glitch in the software. The page printed quickly and quietly and without paperjams :-)
The wireless network setup was a snap! I used the wizzard and it found my network in less than a second. It connected in about 3 seconds although the software said it could take up to 5 minutes! It confirms you are connected and you are good to go! There is a pretty nice software bundle too. I can't wait to try out the scanner and the CD printing! This is by far the nicest printer I have owned :-)

Love my 810 all in one

The two sided print feature is great, I didn't have this capability before on my other printer. I like the fast printing and changing cartridges is easy. The clear printing and scanning is great. Thank You for the easy to read selection bar, a simple touch of the finger does a quick selection for everything you want to do. Best deal for the Money. Epson, You are number One with me.

setups,(enable the wireless,check the fax out;etc.) but its been easy and injoyable
so far. I had a document that needed printed
out from my e-mail and I hit print,and it came
out beutiful!,without ajusting any controls!
now thats what Its all about...thanks Epson. T.C.
