Epson Artisan 810; Love it!

We have owned Epson printers since 1975. This one is the best. I am not pleased with the instruction guide on the web. I like my manuals included on the installation CD to look at when I need them. On the web? OK until you loose your connection. NOT SO GOOD. Set this printer up on the network with no problem. I have not done photos yet, but other quality printing did fine, just like my two other Epson printers perform. I especially like the Claria inks. I would recommend the Artisan printer to anyone who needs a machine that does it all with little space.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hard to say when I got real bad unit! It cut my hand and when I pull paper jam stuck in side .Blood all over and spend 5 hrs to crazy about this .In the pass I got many good unit .May be I have bad luck this time but over all Epson very good printer Brand name.I'm not base on this time.I wouldn't worry cause Epson will taken care of this matter.

Ink runs out too easily

I bought this printer thinking I'd get quality photos. It has not produced high resolution photos so I stopped wasting the ink. Now I only print documents with a little art clip here and there and it STILL runs out of ink way to fast.
I'm stumped on how that happens when I don't use it too often? Can ink evaporate? Seems like it with this unit.

since owning my Mac OSX snow Leopard I've had nothing but trouble. I have tried to get my printer to print photos from and also able to select Epson's photo paper. I have uninstalled just to reinstall the program Epson Was unsuccessful. Went to Mac and download updates and still was unable to get at some to print photos. So finally I went at some and downloaded drivers for my printer and was still unable to print a photo I tried first with the wireless and then later with the USB cable and the results were the same would not grant. Old in the past when I had a PC Epson photo with the best fantastic quality. However now using my Mac on having many problems, I have notified Texas Tech support by e-mail hoping that they can resolve this problem. When I purchase my Mac I asked the salesperson if Epson was compatible with Mac and I was assured that they were compatible. However I had begin a lot of problems concerning my Mac OS X 10.6.8.

Purchased it to put labels directly on my dvd picture slide show for the GrandKids....works great and simple to operate.pcture prints and album pages come out looking profesional....one of my better buy$.........

Fantastic Printer

Love the print quality - the ink lasts forever, which considering the cost that is great...even the 'standard' size lasts forever...have had printer for almost 2 years and recently bought our 3rd set of ink cartridges and have done lots of printing - lots of photos and still lasts a long time...scanning is quick and easy - no problems with anything!

this one does all the printing work as well as printing color pictures. it print...it scans it even print CD label. what else do you expect more?
