I really like my Epson Artisan 810. I don't use color very often, and with my old printer, the cartridge would dry out and become unusable while it was still three quarters full. The Artisan uses a hint of color when you use black, to keep the nozzles open. The only drawbacks so far are: The paper feed pushes out two to ten sheets of paper at a time on some occasions, and the ink is horribly expensive. I'm told it is the highest of all, and if you don't need quality pictures, don't buy an Epson. But it does do everything and does it very well.

Epson Artisan 810 Review

Printer prints great, however I needed customer support to get 2-sided operation to work. With excellent support from EPSON via phone I got printer to operate with my Apple Airport system. Color is great with the six different color ink cartridges. Operation is noisy, but efficient.

Feeder damaged

Printer setup, ease of operation and all are good for the six months.
Now the paper feeder is not working at all.
Inks are too expensive and running out for low jobs.
No option for refilling the ink cartridges.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best CD/DVD Printer

I have used many products that print onto CD on DVD media. This printer is by far the best I have used for quality and speed. My media looks professionally manufactured. This is the best office investment I have made in some time.

i absolutley LOVE my artisan 810 the only problem is i have a two year old that loves pushing buttons i try to shut it off and unplug it but sometimes this doesnt work, the problem is it started printing but nothing would print so i shut it off for a few days and now it's printing but messed up i fixed the alignment and did a nozzle check and that's okay now but it is still printing very very light, the ink levels are somewhat low but im not sure that is the problem, i was looking online and saw that some printers have density levels (wondering could mine be low....?) If anyone can help please please please post answers i'll check back! Thanks

With limited experience on this printer I haven't experienced any trouble and it has performed very well. The expanded HELP features, "How To", is very helpful and immediately available should you need help.
The print is crisp and the print speed is fast. So far I am very satisfied with the Artisan 810.

This is a great printer with excellent features. It is relatively fast, produces fabulous photo's and just does a wonderful job on CD's.
With included software, photo editing is a breeze. The Claria inks make for really fine photo's.
All round competant performer.

Good stuff

Been using this for about a year. I needed a product that could scan, do some printing, and a whole lot of CD printing. I was fortunate the model could also do wireless connections, to include blutooth (will work well with your laptop). The product comes with Epson PrintCD, which allows for basic CD labeling graphics, to include some templates. If there was an advanced version, I would pay for it, but it does what I need. Because its wireless, you can put it in a closet or somewhere away from your precious office space, and not need to deal with network cables. Product has built in memory card so you can store graphics there. CDs print in less than 1 minute. Would not recommend for bussiness or high volume printing (where laser printers rule).
