Print Quality is Good BUT

I intended to use the printer in my home office, but water-based black ink was inappropriate for printing shipping labels or checks (the ink runs badly when mosit). I also miss a second paper tray - especially since the front paper tray is fussy to load. I discovered that you can print on card stock, but need to set a software option in order to feed the thicker stock. I still have this printer, but moved it out of my office.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Wanted to wait a month or two after I got the printer before I wrote a review. Overall it's been a fantastic printer!
Not one problem with it. Love all of the features (have not used it to print cd's yet). The print out are quick and perfect quality. Would recommend it any day of the week!

Good Stuff

So far this lil guy is flawless... piece of cake to install. Drivers worked perfectly off the cd, wireless set up easy and printed test print before I even knew it was working. That's nice! A set up without a tech call is priceless!!!

Fantastic Printer

I bought this Artison 810 printer about 8 months ago. I had some trepidation about buying an All-in-One that is as feature laden as this one is (the Jack of all trades but good at none syndrome). I've also had two earlier printers that would print directly on CD/DVD disks
I had no need to worry --- this printer has exceeded all my expectations and, so far, has been faultless with respect to quality. It does sound a bit clunky but fear not. The output of all types including high resolution photographs is superb.
Another real plus is the ease with which one can change ink cartridges and the front loading of paper.
Initially, I wasn't too interested in its FAX capabilities but, since it has the feature, I've now learned I don't won't to do without it.
Other than the high cost of the consumables (ink), the only other negative from my viewpoint is that it doesn't scan photo negatives.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best Printer

Have had the all-in-one for some time now and have never had a problem with it. Prints great pictures, documents and scans fast and quiet. Only draw back is finding the 98 ink cartridges locally, no one seems to carry them here in San Diego although there are several dealers listed, when I go there, not to be found.
I would recommend this to a friend!
