Great Value!

I originally purchased this printer solely for the scanning function. I can genuinely say that I have been impressed with the performance of this device (environment: Mac OS Xv10.6.5). Setup was easy (using USB cable for now). Printing quality is good and output is fast for an inkjet. I'm most impressed with the scanning. The low setting is 72dpi, the high is 2000dpi. I typically run between 150dpi and 300dpi. The document feeder/scanning function direct to my Macbook Pro is surprisingly fast (9 pages in less than a minute). The design is nice and Epson has done a great job engineering the way drawers, panels, and trays close up, providing a nice sleek look when not in use.
The cons; While you can get amazing deals on the device, like all inkjets, the printer ink can be pricey. This printer runs spooky fast and has a very aggressive paper feed which makes it a touch noisy (not complaining).
My recommendation: 4 out of 5 stars. A good value for the money.

Intuitive Epson

I did read the manual first... but I think the workforce 610 knows how to run itself! The LCD screen says it all clearly and balks only when you enter something dumb. Connected one laptop via USB cable and another wirelessly... no problems. Neighoor bought another brand that scrolls the messages slowly-- perfect if you are just learning to read! ha-ha. Mike S.

So Far, So Good

Just received my Epson Workforce 610. Looks great. Took out of box, and installed software. Set-up, including connecting to wireless network was a piece of cake. So far, so good I'm enjoying my new Epson Workforce 610.

I have been asked to write a review and I am one to to be blunt and honest. I have owned several Epson products and in the short time frame I am more excited about this purchase then any of them. The setup was flawless and simple and the print jobs I have done so far, are great. I have scanned a couple of items and those were great also. Epson you have another winner! I look forward to checking out the rest of the features soon.

It is probably me, I know I am doing something wrong but I can't get it to print from my computer. It works great copying. When I get it figured out correctly it'll be great because I have faith in the product I purchased.
