Worst printer I've ever used

This printer will rarely print correctly. When needed most, there is a possibility that after two nozzle cleanings, changing a cartridge, realigning the heads, and swearing you might get it to print correctly. More likely then not you'll end up emailing the document to a friend and having them print it though. Long story short, this printer is terrible.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have had the workforce 610 for one year. The printer was easy to set up and use. It worked for the 6 months; I am a teacher-so come June, I didn't print anymore papers. When August rolled around and I needed to get back to work the printer would print but without any ink on the page, so I bought new ink cartridges, and the printer still won't print.
I am very disappointed with this printer and I will never buy an Epson printer again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have two printers made by Epson. Epson is the best brand of printer I have purchased. My first Epson uses five colors plus black. The new Workforce 610 has only three colors, but it also send faxes. I have T-mobile at home and can't use the fax portion of the printer, bummer. I would recommend the Epson brand. My first one was purchased about five years ago and it still works as good as it did when I first bought it.

Fast printing,long lasting cartridges. Both ethernet and wireless modes work well. However the wireless mode failed from time to time requiring a delete
printer add printer procedure to restore operation.
Scan and copy functions are superb. Have not used the fax. The document feeder worked well as long as the pages were pristine.

MAC? Forget it.

Epson did not bother to include the print drivers for the Mac on the disc. You are referred to their web site. The install vise that is downloaded never functions properly.
The only install option allowed is "easy install" which provides no user input. The printer drivers simply are not included in the download.
But the CD Print package is installed. Of course it simply occupies memory because again, there is no printer driver, wireless or not.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Using desktop Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit went to the website to download the drivers. It is a nice bonus to be able to connect by wi-fi, ethernet, and usb. In addtion, there addtional drivers are avialable for network administrators. The scanner is very handy with the option to auto feed. Fax feature is fantastic.The printing was lightening fast it seemed as if a nano second passed. The ability to read pictures from the cards or a usb stick is also a adtional benefit. With the high ink capacity it will reduce the overall cost of ownership. Finally, this printer is energy star rated that will help cut down on the energy consumption and costs. Thus making this a green product friendly towards the Earth.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Fast ans Efficient

I recently acquired my WorkForce 610 Series printer. The experience I have had from the beggining has been impressive. The instructions for using it are very clear and easy to put into practice. The speed of the copier is more than adequate, even when downloading articles from the internet. I specially liked the way I can see the pictures directly from my camera and then print what I want. The colors have turned out very vivid and natural. I have not used the Fax yet. I am retired, so I really don't use this feature too much. But the price is excellent.

Great Product

My geeky computer boyfriend bought me the Epson Workforce 610 for Christmas. It works beautifully. Besides being wireless, being able to just plug my disk from my camera to view pictures takes seconds. The copy & scan features are great. I have not used the fax and don't need it so can't comment on that.
I would recommend this to a friend!
