Just set up my new printer. No issues other than my setting up the fax line incorrectly. Went to the setup menu then to the fax settings and found check fax connection. I couldn't believe the printer actually told me what to do to make it work! Quite impressive!
The only thing I have to say so far that it is quite loud. I was actually startled (jumped) when it printed my first page which was quite fast.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Works for me

I bought my Workforce 610 this fall to use at home with my MacBook running Snow Leopard, and after reading other customer comments decided to order the USB cable too, in case I have trouble with the wireless. My daughter had bought a supposedly wireless laser printer which turned out to not really be so (we would have needed to connect it to the router or something, which wasn't feasible, so we never did). I also expected to have to go online to load the driver for Snow Leopard, but the disk that came with it is now up-to-date, so there was no need. Setup was straightforward and fairly quick. We were prompted to re-enter the wireless info when we installed the driver on my husband's computer, after having installed it on mine, which was kind of a pain because the keypad isn't really made for entering a lot of letters, etc. But it works great, and he successfully printed something while sitting in his comfy chair in the living room (the printer is in a spare bedroom). It's a little loud, but very nearly as fast as the laser was, and I "tested" the waterproof ink by holding a newly printed page under a running faucet--there was no hint of bleeding or smearing. Mine is a refurbished model, but as far as I can tell, it's exactly like a brand new one. Haven't tried the scanner yet, but I did use the copier and that's fine too.

My husband and I love this printer. It prints fast and was easy to set up. It took longer to unpack the printer than it did to set it up and that includes the wireless setup.

Currently I use 4 printers at home, 5 at my office for printing business documents to photos and xrays, and we started decades ago even before the first Epson dot matrix. This is the first printer my wife actually enjoys using, and the handiest ever. Only downsides are: small paper in tray, scanning software doesn't know how to do a stack of double-sided into a single file.
