quality is wonderful. However, 1). louder than i would want. can't understand why it is not whisper quiet on taking paper. 2). dislike that i have to hit 3 buttons to turn off - it prompts for confirmation to turn off. 3). paper sometimes goes in crooked. Other than those 3 items - the printer is quite nice.

Unfortunately, I definintely would not recommend this printer. I had to return it twice for replacements and the one I have now is working okay but is sucking up ink like there is no tomorrow. The printer stopped printing the first time I had to return it. The black ink just stopped printing. I returned the printer to the store for a replacement. That printer started jamming within 3 days. No matter what paper I used, it jammed. I returned that one to Epson for a replacement. I have had this one for about 3 weeks. so far, so good but I have gone through way too many ink cartridges to be efficient. I have a home business and print a lot and have to have a printer that is reliable. This one is not. I have used Epsons happily before but would hesitate to buy one again after this experience.

This printer performs well. I have enjoyed in. The one thing that could be improved is the ink cartridges. First, the ink level displayed when printing should be more informative. I can't tell when the levels are low by the picture. On two ocassions, I ran out of ink in the middle of a very important print job and had to go to the store and get a new cartridge before I could finish. All because I did not know that the levels were low. Additionally, the cartridges that I have purchased seems not to have much ink in them. I don't do much prining and have had to replace the cartridge at least three times since December 2009.

The printer works good, but I had to purchase a better USB cable before it would work with my HP computer. I kept getting communication errors so it would not let me scan or fax. I got a gold tipped USB cable and now everything works.

Great Printer!

First let me start by saying that I always buy Epson printers. They're the best printers for graphics. This is my 3rd Epson printer but my first upgrade and I really like it. Some reviewers on other websites said that it's too noisy. Well, it is noisy but it also has a "quiet mode" option......just click on the button and it's quiet! How simple is that? One of the best things about this printer is that Epson makes hi capacity ink cartridges as well as the standard capacity. Being a scrapbooker/cardmaker, I use my printer for differet types of paper. Having a printer that handles the many types of paper and various sizes is an absolute must for me. So far, so good. The printer accepts vellum paper without a problem.....my old one didn't. I just purchased it a month or so ago and haven't yet tried all the features but so far, it's agreat printer and easy to use. I'm very satisfied.

In the box, Epson told me has 97,98 inks are enclosed, but included 96/96 inks. after I try to print 6 pages by the black color, the 96B ink cartridge is out. I think that printer has good feature but spend a lot of money for inks. So I should not refer that to anyone with low income, like me.

This printer was very easy to install with the wireless feature. The printing speed and quality are great! The printer is a good size- not too heavy or cumbersome. The ink refills are great- very small and if one color runs out you only need to purchase that one color. Very economical.
I have never had an Epson product before but will continue to purchase this brand.
