So far so good - easy to set up. Ink does not smear. A bit loud tho.

Great All-in-One

I spent a significant amount of time shopping around for an All-in-One that had rich features, without a rich price. The WorkForce 610 stood out alone.
Setup was a breeze, as I was printing, copying, and receiving faxes within minutes (I didn't have a PC plugged directly into the 610 to play around with the scanning).
I would definitely recommend the WorkForce 610 to anybody looking for a solid All-in-One at an affordable price.

Easy to install, easy to configure and work nice, I'm really happy with this printer. I'm install this printer wireless and works beautiful.

Set Up

So far great--set up was easy but I have Snow Leopard and the wireless did not connect--Called Tech and they led us through it--now it works and works great through the MacBook --no where was this mention in the instructions or video's--sure would like to get what we did in writing in case I buy a desktop--did not hook up Fax yet---that is why I put down 4 stars---

Epson printers were recommended to me by a coworker - The WorkForce 610 is easy to use, prints high quality pages and its step by step instructions to get started were great for a novice like me.

I really do like the features and quality of the print. I have tested pictures and everything with this. The quality is Great. The speed is great as well.
The main feature that sold us on this is the WI-FI since we didn't know much about Epson. I am a college student and migrate through the house to study where ever it is quiet since I have four kids and two grand kids. The WI-FI doesn't work worth a darn. We have contacted tech support, unstalled and re-installed the system. We thought it was due to my lap top going into sleep mode but it wasn't just that it is that the printer goes into sleep mode as well. I find myself having to constantly get up and reset it. There is even a trouble shooting tip to "shut down and restart" when receiving printing errors. This causes many more delays in my research work and everything. But, recently we discovered that even just printing one item after another with in a matter of a couple minutes it is timing out and I have to get up and reset it. I am very busy and in the middle of classes. There have been times this has locked up my lap top, thus having to reboot it as well.
The ink is very costly and there are different user levels available to purchase. I know the difference from my last printer and haven't been able to compare if I get more out of Epson's or not. I do like that they are all seperate cartridges so if one goes that is all I am replacing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
