Epson Workforce 610 set up was smooth

Setting up my new Epson printer was very easy. However the instructions lost a bit in translation--watch out for when you need to plug in your usb to the computer (not until the software says). Other than that glitch it was uneventful. It scans, prints, and copies. I even have the fax setup and ready to plug in. I would recommend the printer--it prints out fast too which is a definite plus.
I would recommend this to a friend!

excellent product for very little money when you consider all it does. Software install a snap and bonus software worth more than the product. Love the clarity of the photo printing.

Great Little Combo Unit!

I bought this thing, brought it to the office and in less than 30 minutes it was all installed and working like a champ!
Installation was easy, fast and worked the first time I tried.
Prints, faxes & scans like it cost a thousand bucks...no, BETTER! Great machine for anyone!

Epson Printer 610 workplace all in one

Initial reaction to this printer is very positive! It is quite fast, has excellent color reproduction and is extremely easy to set up and operate. Haven't used all the functions as it is so new to me, but look forward to it.

I WAS SURPRISE OF THE SIMPLICITY OF THIS PRINTER. PRINTS PHOTOS BEAUTIFUL. BETTER THAN MY EPSON 6400 CAN'T BEAT THE VAULE. FAST PRINTING.

Great Printer but somewhat awkward interface

I love my new WorkForce 610. It prints very fast and beautifully. I found the control panel somewhat cumbersome to use. I am a technically minded person, so I can deal with it. It is somewhat complex (many steps needed) to do simple and common tasks, such as copying, scanning, faxing etc. I think that average (non technical people) might have difficulty using it, as it isn't all that intuitive to operate. It would be nice if Epson would add simple buttons on the control panel, such as Copy, Scan, Fax etc to access the functions directly with a minimum amount of button pushing and/or menus to go through.
I also noticed that the WiFi speed (although compatible with N routers) is only able to actually use B and G speeds. It would be nice to have the speed of N. I had originally installed it as a WiFi Printer, but after I saw the access speeds, I decided to plug it directly into my router via a LAN cable to get twice the speed.

Great value

This is the first scanner I've purchased and already got my money's worth in just a few days. I didn't need the fax or copy features, but now have this for back up of those functions if the need arises. I bought it primarily for scanning and have already scanned irreplaceable family photos that are to 80 years old, and stored them in my computer and on a disk, securing them for future generations!
The scanner works great and photo quality is outstanding!

A NICE IMPROVEMENT

I ALSO HAVE A NX415 AND A NX515 AT MY SUMMER RESIDENCE. I HAVE A PROBLEM LOADING PAPER IN THE 415, HOWEVER IT IS VERY EASY LOADING PAPER IN THE 610. tHE 610 IS FAST AND THE PRINT IS EXCELLENT. tHE COLORS ARE VERY BRIGHT AND VIBRANT. I ALSO LIKE THE DISPLAY AND KEYBOARD ON THE 610. THIS PRINTER IS BETTER THAN WHAT I EXPECTED WHEN I GOT IT TO REPLACE THE 415.
