Epson 610 Work "Horse"

I've had my new new Epson 610 workforce printer just a few days and am overwhelmed with satisfaction. Especially after purchasing it on sale. I've purchased two other printers and have taken them back in recent weeks. One used too much ink. Another one, a plastic backing plate fell off everytime I hit the print button and cycled paper through it. This Epson 610 will work well for the book(s) I am writing. It also has copy, scan and fax. And the high capacity print mode for B & W printing, also photograph printing. The menu is easy to cycle thru once you read the book.. laid out in good common sense manner. Plus I can use my camera card directly into printer. I've got more printer than I need, but wouldn't you like to have "more" than "not enough?" And it's good enough to hook up to a network! The laser print work is absolutely professional and attractive to the eye... and fast!
I'm 50 years old and never married, now if I could just find a woman this good!
I also like I can go to an Epson website for help in operation, rather than digging through the house to find my operation manuals..
It even has wireless operation.. (whenever I get around to figuring that out)

Good All-in-One Printer

My first all-in-one purchase. Very easy network setup. Matches printing of my Epson Stylus Photo R300 plus copies, scans and faxes.

Solid Product

The Epson WorkForce 610 all-in-one printer is a good, solid, product. Set-up was easy. It functions as promised and the output quality is very good. It can be a bit noisy, but that has not been an issue for me at home with limited daily use. The only aspect which is a disappointment is the fact that it will not print black and white output if a color cartridge is empty.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great printer

I bought one of these 610's several months ago when my last HP died. HP quality is in the dumpster so for the first time in a decade I made a switch to a different printer. All I can say is WOW! For the price charged for this printer and for all it can do it's a tremendous bargain IMO. Fast printing,copy,two different methods of scanning,FAX and even slots for your camera's flash cards. To top that off it's WiFi capable so you can print on computers/laptops in your home that are wireless. Other computers that hook up to your router via Ethernet cables will also print. One printer for the whole house instead of several. Setting up this printer to share with all the other computers in your home is a simple as installing off a DVD and click a mouse and your done. BUY THIS!!

Wireless worked great

I had the Workforce 600 and loved that printer - so I bought this one for the wireless. I have a 2 story home so it was a pain to drag my laptop upstairs every time I needed to print. The wireless worked great. If you have a two story home with laptops - this is the only way to go

Black Print

I have found this an excellent printer. It is noisy. To the reviewer who asked about printing in black, I have not tried it, but I see that when you go to File, Print, and Properties, you can go to Advanced and find a black/grayscale choice to check off. So try that.

Initially the paper would jam every time I tried to print.
The color and alignment was also off. After doing the alignments and print head cleaning on the printer menu everthing starting working correctly. the printer ran out of ink fast with the enclosed cartridges. I had to go buy more right away. Once you get thru all the above this
has turned out to be a good printer.

Great Scanning

As a scanner this machine is great, top notch even. Sadly, i cannot make it print, which I believe is the primary objective of a printer. I will keep trying to figure it out though.
