Almost Perfect

The printer has terrific capabilities for its price. The one thing I dislike about it is the apparent inability to set the printer to print in black & white only. Most of the time, I can select this mode from the Print Command, but not always. Why can't I set the printer to operate in the black & white only mode?

not up to expectations

We had a new printer that would not print from the internet. The printer would often print the heading of the page only on a completely blue page. We bought the Epson hoping for an improvement, but have exactly the same thing. Completely blue pages will print out (guess who is out of blue ink already) and often unble to print from internet.
We are very disappointed.
Set-up directions should be better. Seems like we traded one problem for the same thing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Noisy and Cumbersome

The print quality is good but the operation is noisy and it has a tendancy to draw the paper through at an angle.

The copies and prints are very good. The machine makes a scary noise however as paper runs through it. Today I was printing a color sheet and even though the ink is new there were faded lines on the print

I've only had the product for a week, but it has exceeded my expectations. The set up was flawless and functionality was perfect. I got it at a great price. i have been raving about it to all who will listen. If you want an affordable all in one this is it.

I'm still having trouble getting it to print wirelessly, and the print mode is somewhat noisy, but printed materials are clear. I haven't tried to print any photos yet.

Excellent fit on my network!

I previously had the WorkForce 600 and loved it until I upgraded to Mac OS 10.6. With the internet connections I have, upgrading all that was necessary to make it run on my network again just wasn't happening. So I bought this one on sale hoping it would serve me as well. In fact, the setup was so much easier that my 600 one and half years ago I couldn't believe it. All my computers were online for printing within an hour of starting the setup. It prints and faxes and copies as promised (I'm really happy with how it puts through multiple pages for faxing without catching half the next page). I do not hesitate to give this printer 5 stars for its value and reliability and ease of setup.
