Complete nightmare

This printer worked fine....for about two weeks. After that I spent a couple of hundred dollars replacing ink cartridges in less than a month, and I print maybe 10-20 pages a week. The machine would clean the heads endlessly - almost every time I turned the machine on. So then I tried to just print in black and white, but evidently you have to have all four color cartridges in there when you print in B/W, which is just a fantastic design idea. Great for their Epson bank account at least, though not for their customers. On the rare occasions when it did print (after the first month) the streaks and fadeouts all over the page were so awful that most text was illegible.
Epic fail.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very Disappointing Performance

Uses tons of ink and despite replacement of all cartridges, nozzle cleaing, head cleaning and alignment, the print quality is horrible. So poor in fact that this unit is basically useless as a printer. It's on it's way to the recycling center while I shop for another brand.

Do not buy

I have had this printer for 2 years. It eats ink and is so expensive to maintain. I have to clean it 3 times every time I print. Otherwise it only prints blank pages. Now it won't let me print anything because I'm out of blue ink - which I never use! I am buying a new printer.

Do not enjoy this printer

I do not recommend this printer. I have replaced my black ink cartridge and wish to print a black and white word document, yet the printer will not perform the task because my yellow and blue cartridges are low. I have tried removing these cartridges, but it still won't print.

Nothing but problems. I've had it a little over a year and maybe printed from it five times. It drinks ink. The paper jams easily and it must be feed a certain amount of paper at a time. Horrible product.

Light duty multi-function

I have used this for my home and for work with both WIN XP, WIN 7, and MAC OS and iOS. I am pleased with it. I don't like the WIFI scanning - it never seems to go right for me, but the direct connect with a USB is fine. The menu screens make it easy to reconfigure what I am doing, regardless of the computer I am using.
After three years of steady, but light service, I am moving up to a new machine. I print things out less than 10 pages per week, and only when absolutely needed. At this rate of printing, the ink is used up right about where the printing starts to look funny anyway, so I have not messed with ink replacement and cleaning the heads more than the absolute minimum.
If this kind of usage is similar to you, this machine will do many things at a great price. Think about it!

After my warranty expired, the printer will not load the paper correctly. It jams every time the paper is loaded. No one can repair it.
