Poorly designed and unreliable

Purchased this machine about 18 months ago. Have had problems with it from the start. The paper intake is very sensitive and gets temperamental about using card stock or thicker, more professional paper. If you run out of cyan, magenta, or yellow but have plenty of black, it won't let you print until you replace the other colors. I've had printers that would still let you print as long as it was black only. It often takes in one or two blanks before it prints making. Runs out of ink VERY fast. I hate this machine. I bought it for the wireless printing but I regret it completely.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

If you like to troubleshot a lot, get this printer

That's about it. I'm on my third full set of cartridges just trying to get the black ink to print. Used all the printer maintenance and cleaning functions regularly and too often for my taste...still won't print black.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Terrible print quality

I loved this printer when we first purchased it. But, ever since I replaced the ink cartridges, it has been awful! I have wasted more time, money, paper and ink just trying to print simple things. I clean it, run all the services and I have the same terrible print. Often times it just leaves a big blank in the middle of the page. So disappointed!

This printer is the worst. Total garbage. if all cartridges arent full it will not let you print in black and white. How ridiculous.

Expensive Ink & Driver Install Issues

Noisy Work Force 610 printer is simply a poor performer. Ink level pops up on every printout and with no way to close it. No error messages appear if there is a printer issue. Very expensive ink cartridges that simply do not last. After removing and replacing the cartridges, the printer drivers need to be removed completely, to allow Windows to re-install. This printer will not print bar codes properly unless the nozzles are cleaned before each printout. USPS rejects them constantly. I bought it because of the Epson sales rep and I have kept it faithfully. One more issue and it is gone.

My printer is printing red

The printer is always acting up, I have documents, pictures to pint by thursday and it's not working tonight. Been messing with for 4 hours now and nothing. This is the last time I pick Espon

I have had this printer for approximately three years. I have used it no more than two dozen times over the past three years. Each time I have used it I have had to buy brand new cartridges. With a printer sitting for so long out of use I expect to have to buy new cartridges. But today is a bit ridiculous. Note: I have updated the drivers and all are current as of today.
I just replaced every cartridge in it as of today (totaling appx $54). The printer ran a single test page in Cyan, no yellow, magenta or black. It will not allow me to print a simple black and white page with the brand new black ink cartridge. As I am writing this I have received a message stating I need to replace the Cyan cartridge...the one I just installed..Espon brand..brand new. So essentially for me to be able to print 10 pages today I will not only have spent $54 or so, but now I am going to have to buy a brand new printer as it seems this one is just letting the ink leak right out of the cartridges.
I have had two Epson brand printers, the first was mediocre performance at best and was a simple printer, so I didn't expect much from it. This was to be my "All-in-One" and never have to buy another one again, printer.
I am fed up with this machine and will never buy another Epson product again.
Word to the wise, do not buy this product.
