Very disappointed

I purchased the Workforce 610 at the recommendation of CNET. But 2 issues: most importantly, the printer shook and made a loud clunk noise when feeding the paper. I'm definitely not going to put up with that, even for speed and quality prints. I took it right back and got a refund. i Secondly, as soon as I received an email from Epson offering the same printer for $30 less. How frustrating is that?

My whole operating system went down and I can't seem to get back to a recent restore point. Whenin safe mode I can't communucate the issue to Microsoft or uninstall the printer.
It worked fine before I installed the new printer day before yesterday, and it printed pretty pictures. then when I turned it on yesterday - all bad.

Frustrated, unmapped printers bring woe
on November 10, 2010

We had a home network with 2 wired black & white printers. We purchased the 610 to give us color printing capability. The wireless networking setup for the 610 worked fine, but it unmapped the wired printers that were working fine with existing programs prior to the 610 addition. Resetting the default printer to the wired printer did not solve the problem. Now we need a network expert to remap our printers to the software programs that they had been associated with.

Epson Workforce 610 printerprinter

I purchased this last Friday (Dec 30th). It had been used as a store demo for a short time. I installed new black and color ink cartridges. It will not print any black information. It will not print any single e-mail - it leaves out lines, or parts of a line. When printing color, the data is not very readable.

This well thought combination of printer/fax/scanner/printer uses all functions with maximum efficiencies. The modified touch screen gets you there and even has a document feeder. The top of the WorkForce610 even has a cover to keep dust and dirt out of the machine.
Bottom line here is that it has a neat and attractive appearance and every efficiency needed for max productivity.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Just got 2 units and replaced my 600 workforce. Works great on my Vista computers but having trouble with the XP system. I guess it is time to upgrade operating system. Had many troubles with the auto doc feeder on my 600, hope this has been corrected with the new 610. Network setup was easy and i have 4 computers that send documentation to the printers wirelessly. Never a problem printing and quality is marvelous.
