Cheap Chinese made cartridges that have done nothing but give me a headache. No amount of removing and unplugging and jumping up and down on one leg will make the printer recognize these brand new cartridges. Will be returning and then researching options for a new printer. This is so typical of HP.

I am sorry that the cartridges didn't work. I can understand if you are unhappy about that.
The contacts that connect with the cartridges might be smudged or damaged. Carefully polish the copper contacts on the cartridge (and the matching ones inside the printer) with lint-free material to get off fingerprints or dust.

I love everything about my 15-EC1010NR...almost

This machine is lightning fast and so quiet. I love almost everything about it.
My two complaints about it are:
1) They put 4GB Ram (x2) using both memory slots. Now I will have to replace memory to expand my memory. (Even though the specs on the web site said it would have 8GB (x1))
2) Their support rep. told me that I would void my warranty if I added memory. WHAT????
3) They should have made it with more USB ports. There is only one + the USB-C port.
4) They should have put a VGA (or another HDMI) adapter on the PC. This is limiting and when I bought a 3rd party hub, it won't work because this PC's video doesn't support DIsplay Port.
I would still recommend this PC, but with warning about the above. It really does a great song and dance!

Not satisfied as the cyan cartridge wasn't of very good quality and the ink spilled all over as soon as orange plastic cover was removed.

I have had issues in the past with HP cartridges with my HP printer, but these this time actually worked as intended. But I do fill that the price of ink should be less considering the new technology and ability to refill existing cartridges.
