Great Camera

This is a great camera,the only problem is the strap,it sticks to the velcro case made for the camera and after the first full day of use on our trip the strap was ruined.
Haven't been able to find a replacement strap yet.

An excellent limited-budget purchase. I especially like the way the manual is written - clear and concise. The only time I've gotten a bad picture is when I didn't know how to adjust to a particular situation like bright sun, etc. I am impressed with this camera and look forward to moving up to an SLR.

I love my new camera, the zoom is awesome, long distace shots are great. I lent it to my brother for a trip to Washington and the pics came out great....Great price. Only con i have is the battery life, other than that, great product.
Pros: excellent image quality, Bright LCD, easy to use
Cons: Short battery life

Easy to use

I purchased this camera right before my daughters high school grauation party. I had many people pick it up and use it at the party. All had the same comments. Wow, what an easy camera to use. Also the pictures are fantastic. It is a high end camera that is easy to use and has a wide range with the 10X zoom.

Cannon SX120IS A Good Value

A nice compact camera that is easy to use. Auto takes good photos and on occasion the "P" setting adds the flexibility to alter the shot
The movie mode has a nice digital zoom and is suited for shot clips
Pros: can carry it in your shirt pocket, standard aa batteries, 10x optical zoom

Great shots. That is what you will be hearing when you show the pictures that you will be taking with this wonderful camera. Digital cameras are so easy but never provided me with the quality I was used to with my old SLR. I now feel confident with this camera in my hand ! We gave it a test on vacation in San Francisco . THe photos we brought back are rich in color and detail ! Thank you !

Loving it and still learning

First, I am very pleased with the camera. The Auto mode works great and gives excellent pictures. Bought this camera because of the zoom range, from very wide to very long and have taken advantage of it a lot.
The battery indicator shows full all the time until suddenly I'm getting a warning that the battery is almost drained. I've been surprised and caught without a spare a couple of times because of that.
Wishes:
- I wish a printed manual came with the camera. I printed my own from the CD.
- There are a LOT of options and I'm still not sure why some of them are under Menus and some under Functions. There are things I know the camera can do that I spend a lot of time looking for. The manual helps -- most of the time.
- I'd like a bluetooth connection so I could send things from the camera to my phone to e-mail or display.
- I wish a printed manual came with the camera. I printed my own from the CD.
- There are a LOT of options and I'm still not sure why some of them are under Menus and some under Functions. There are things I know the camera can do that I spend a lot of time looking for. The manual helps -- most of the time.

Fantastic Camera

I have had this camera for almost a year now, and I have been extremely satisfied with it. It takes very good pictures for the size it is. The size is perfect for carrying around. The pictures I have taken have been very nice looking, but every now and then, depending on the lighting, the pictures appear very slightly grainy. But in general, all of the pictures are very clear. This camera is perfect for someone who enjoys photography as a hobby, and for beginners. It is very easy to use, but takes quality pictures. A fantastic camera indeed!

Cons: Short battery life
