I first purchase a HP Multi-function printer in the same category as this printer. I returned the HP DUE TO THE FACT I could not not make WIFI connection work. The instructions were far to complicated for a novice. I returned it and purchase this Cannon printer and within an hour I had it working and printing through my wirless connection. The information was more informative. The printer works fine and I am happy with the performance.
Pros: Easy Setup, fast print speed

So far, this has been a great printer! Setup was a breeze, and I had it online in no time! I've only had it 2 weeks, so time will tell, but as of right now, I really love it! It's quiet, compact, and has a ton of features. The WiFi was super easy to set up! The photo quality is beautiful too!
Pros: Compact Design, Easy Setup, Sharp Tones & Colors

Very easy to set up! Great prices on ink, wireless is also very easy to set up and use! Would reccomend to anyone and everyone!

The MP560 worke fine BUT can be slow to start a print job. It waits a min. to start printing where my old printer would have the job done before the 560 even starts.
I do almost all black and white yet my color tanks are on the way down,so I can see more cost for ink.

EASY TO SET UP, DETAILED OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS BOTH WRITTEN AND ON LINE SUPPORT. THIS IS MY FIRST PRINTER AND AS COMPARED TO OTHER FRIENDS, I THINK I DID THE BEST IN GETTING THE CANON MP560. *HOWEVER, I TRY NOT TO PRINT TOO OFTEN IN ORDER, BECAUSE EVERYONE KNOWS HOW EXPENSIVE INK CAN BE.

Not iPad/iPhone friendly

My iPads & iPhones can't find the printer on the network & the canon printer app is limited to photos. I've had this printer for about a year and have no problems with the network connected PCs but it constantly drops my MacBook. I have not found a software or firmware fix that makes the printer more iPad friendly.
Cons: not fully ipad/iphone compatible
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Unreliable Machine

Lots of good features on this machine but has been unreliable - now can print from screen on printer and copy but cannon print anything from my wireless computer. Have spent countless hours trying to make it work but am giving up - my blood pressure is probably sky high. Canon needs to provide more support for printers out of warranty to avoid all these throw away units.Also when it prints it is very slow!!!

Cons: Slow Print Speed, unreliable, costly ink doesn't last, not enough support
