Just Purchased Quality So Far !!

The packaging alone should indicate the potention quality of the proudct. The abundance of printed information accompanying the printer is another sign. Of course, reading is fundamental. Setup was easy. Wireless connection was easy. First prints have been as expected. Highly recommend Canon products.

Fully Featured and Easy to Use

This is my 3rd Canon printer (the MP460 and MX310 are still working well) and the MP series keeps getting better. I experienced no issues of any kind during setup and am baffled why some others have had problems. The only thing I may have done differently is that I downloaded and installed the latest driver for Win7 prior to running the installer disc. It connected to my network almost immediately. Print head alignment is nearly totally automated now and needs only for the printed page to be placed on the scanner. When installing ink tanks each slot lights up to let you know they have been installede correctly. The MP560 was up and running in mere minutes.
I've printed a few test pics and compared them to photolab prints and neither I or friends can tell the difference. Using Auto Photo Fix had excellent results improving image quality. I thought both my other printers were excellent when printing text but the text printed by my MP560 is so sharp and clean that it jumps off the page. I'm wowed by the way it prints both photos and text.
The built-in auto duplexing will save you money on paper and being Energy Star Compliant will save on power. Now with dual paper feeds, No longer is it necessary to remove 8.5x11 to print photos. Keep photo paper loaded in the rear tray and the printer chooses the correct tray automatically. Wow! The only negative I can think of would be print speed. While it isn't fastest in it's class neither is it slowest and I'll take quality over quantity almost every time. That's why I did not deduct a point for performance. Despite the one negative, I feel the MP560 represents an excellent value. Thanks Canon!

Best Printer I've Ever Owned!

This is our first Canon printer and we are beyond happy with it. It was very easy to set up. The ink cartridges were super easy to install, as was the softwear. This printer has all the features we were looking for, and more. The photo printing quality is absolutely stunning and we love the feature which allows us to just pop our memory card out of our camera and into the printer.
We also print a lot of labels and this printer does it much more efficiently than our old HP did. The print quality is great. This printer is very speedy as well!
We also like that this printer doesn't take up a whole lot of space on our rather small desk.
We were very surprised at how many features we got for the very reasonable price we paid. We are definitely Canon converts!

This printer is the answer to my dreams...
it is reasonably priced
uses multiple ink cartridges
has a reasonably small footprint on my desk
make great copies, photos and clean print outs
and it is wireless
What more could you ask for

I bought this when my last printer died. It has been a great
experience from start to finish. THe price was right and the
product works great. I am not a comp geek and I set this up
in no time. The quality for the photos are are simply the best.
I used the usb to hook up until I go wireless. Would recommend to anyone. SO far so good.

great value printer

This Canon was a replacement for a home office printer. Setting this up on a wireless network was a snap. I have set up multiple computers to use the printer, both macs and pcs. If you follow the instructions in the setup you will not have a problem. I have had it a month and it has not disappointed.
Pros: reliable, Easy Setup, Lightweight/Portable
Cons: weak documentation

I've had this printer for about 6 days and I am very pleased with this purcahse.
I researched several printers online and had actually decided on a cheaper PIXMA before stumbling across this one. Every review I read about the Canons praised quality and ease of use.
So far this printer has not disappointed me.
** Setup was easy. Took only a few minutes.

** The onboard screen and menu is easy to navigate and understand.
** The installed templates were a feature I did not know about and I was pleasantly surprised. Very useful for our sons school projects. The music sheets were also a plus. Very muscial family.
** Picture quality is outstanding! My parents have a photo printer from another company and their photos are pixelated and often reddish in hue. The PIXMA prints beautiful, vibrant photos.
** I was intimidated by the individual cartridges but they are very affordable. I always seemed to run out of one color first on our old Z22 and then have to wait until the whole thing ran out before getting a new one. I can replace all of the color and black cartridges in my PIXMA for less than the cost of 2 cartridges (tri color and black) in our old one. I cannot comment on how long they last yet, but comments from other users were satisfactory.
** WiFi setup was super easy. It picked up our modem immediately. However I do have one complaint:
-- Our wireless modem is upstairs and I initailly set this up with our laptop downstairs directly under the area of the house the modem is and it would not print even though it had signal. It said it was not in range. Most of our office and photo printing needs are upstairs anyway, but it would be nice if this unit had a larger reach. I may have to play with this a little more to see if I'm doing something wrong.

** As for print speeds, our old printer was incredibly slow, so this is a major upgrade for us. Everyone has different ideas about what is fast. I have no complaints.
I am super excited to continue discovering eveything this printer can do. I bought this in a store and found the price to be very acceptable given what I was planning on purchasing several months ago at a much higher price.
For our home needs, this printer exceeds my expectations. I would recommend it to anyone.

Great Quality prints, slow to start

I've had my Canon MP560 printer for a few months now and I'm very impressed with the quality of the prints. Photos are flawless and quick. The only issue I have is how long it takes the printer to warm up when it's turned on. It can take 2 minutes to finally start printing, which is a long time when I'm trying to print something quickly.
Aside from the slow start, I am totally satisfied with the printer! Oh and the wireless networking is fantastic! No cables everywhere!!!
