Couldn't beat it for the price

I read reviews after I ordered it and the only complaint was the letter print quality. Everyone loved the photos. When I got it I had to test the print and it was okay - just okay. Then I thought to check if there was another option - which there is - and It prints absolutely beautiful in high quality setting. So for those e-mails and general run of the mill stuff that we print most often, we will save money and ink by using the standard or even the fast mode. Did I mention Wireless Scanning?!? I have 3 computers that use it and they all work great.
Pros: reliable, Compact Design, Easy Setup, Lightweight/Portable, Sharp Tones & Colors, easy to use, wireless scanning, 2 sided printing, did i mention wireless?

This printer basically sets itself up. If you are not a big directions person (I prefer to dive right in and refer to directions as more of a troubleshooting guide/ last resort) this printer is for you. I was able to get it set up and connected to my wireless network in less than 20 minutes with zero frustration. The pop-up LCD screen figures out what you are trying to do and guides you through the process with illustrated step by step instructions (like when I went to install the ink cartridges- it knew what I was doing and gave me instructions). This is excellent thinking ahead on the part of the Canon software team!
Finally, I want to say that the look of the printer is very sleek. The paper holder tray only lets itself out when you are printing a document, so your workspace will look very neat when you are finished using the printer. The color LCD screen is very clear and provides detailed (and often illustrated) instructions and information exactly when and where you need it.
The one con is that the print speed doesn't seem very fast, but I was willing to sacrifice that for better image quality at a great price.
Pros: Easy Setup, easy to use
Cons: Slow Print Speed

AMAZING - MP560 Wireless All-In-One Printer

The Canon MP560 all-in-one printer is simply the best printer I have ever purchased, 5 Stars! It's capabilities are beyond compare for the cost of the printer and ink and it's printing is spectacular, true life colors. I have been amazed, no longer switching wires around to plug in different PCs, Laptops, and such. Photo Card readers are optimally the best part of this printer, allowing me to print from my digital camera straight to the printer. I have served as a level 2 technical customer service representative for several Fortune 500 companies and I suspect the Canon Service Desk Reps very seldom get calls about this superior designed all-in-one MP560 printer from Canon. In my professional opinion this is the absolute best!

I would give six stars but there is only five! I don't usually give superlatives but Canon must have made a mistake and put a high-end device in the low end category. Even so the buyer benefits. If you are looking for a printer that has everything this is the device! The one feature I love best is the two-sided printing---all done automatically! This is a feature found on the high-end printers but here it is and it works great! I give the printer overall SIX stars that's how much I like this printer.
Pros: reliable, Compact Design, Easy Setup, durable, Lightweight/Portable, Sharp Tones & Colors, fast print speed, easy to use

An unexpected surprise.

What an unexpected surprise this printer turned out to be. I bought it to print color pictures from our vacations and it turned out to do so much more. To begin, I love that it is wireless, different computers in the house can print to it without being hardwired directly. The wireless programming was easy to follow and worked on the first try. Our text printing needs don’t require laser quality - it’s your basic recipes, airline tickets, vacation schedules, online purchase receipts, bank statements, to-do lists, the occasional web site page and Google map directions. And, for all the above – the text is clear and very sharp, perfect for our use. Where this printer really excels is in printing color pictures. My wife and I are simply amazed at the quality of pictures we get. Colors are vibrant, natural and true to the original picture. There is a slight red overtone on tanned skin on some pictures but on sunsets the yellows, reds and dark colors blend smoothly. The printer is very quiet and fast. The ink is reasonable and easy to find. We’ve replaced two color ink cartridges for a very minimal cost and we are still running on the original black ink cartridge which is ½ full, impressive since we bought this printer in December and we’ve been using it on a weekly basis. Lately I have been using the scanner feature for scanning pictures, receipts and other things on to the computer. It’s fast, easy to use and the included software really helps to get the best of your scans and color pictures. To top it off, there is an iPhone APP that I am now using quite frequently.

The MP560 using XP linked up easily with a USB cable but after 2 hours I gave up trying to establish a wireless connection. But then along came Jason a Cannon Tech Support person in Virginia who spoke English and took all of 10 minutes to correct my oversight/ignorance. Since then the printer has worked flawlessly. Thanks Jason and Cannon for having super support.

Planned obselescence?!

U052 "Incorrect Print Head" Error.
Inferior product that all of a sudden, though working beautifully until now, decided that the print head was incorrect. It gave me an U052 error, rendering the entire printer completely inoperable. This is ridiculous since the scanner doesn't require a print head to function. But I can't even scan documents now.
Furthermore, to give you guys some context for why I'm upset, I've spend the last few days on YouTube checking out ways that consumers outsmart the planned obsolescence agenda of printer manufacturers, practically extracting hundreds of additional full-quality pages after the printer started displaying "errors."
I didn't find any solution for this particular printer but I've seen enough to get an idea how printer manufacturers operate.
I'm done buying Canon and I'm definitely done buying inkjets.

Impressive Features & Easy Setup

I have had this printer for two weeks and am very impressed with the many features for such a reasonable price. The setup was very easy with the clear directions. I set it up with my PC(Windows XP) and in wireless mode with my laptop(Windows Vista). When my new PC was delivered last week with Windows 7, I expected to have to download drivers from the Canon site but this was not necessary -- the setup went smooth with the disc provided. I have tried out all the modes and this printer/copier/scanner works great.
Pros: Compact Design, Easy Setup, inexpensive
