The worst toaster I've ever owned. Usually you get a few years of use before it starts producing 1/2 burnt 1/2 barely toasted toast. Seriously wondering if mine was used. This is a new low in appliances. Shame on Cuisinart.

Very affordable but cheap. I am a long time Cuisinart product user but am disappointed. Does not toast evenly. One side darker than the other. To toast English muffin I need to set on 7 and use the bagel setting to not have a gummy texture English muffin. Guess you get what you pay for. I do like that it has a smaller foot print. Fits better in my cupboard. Next time I will spend more money.

Didn't work from the first time plugged in! Nothing from the heating elements, to say we were disappointed is an understatement! It was to replace an old Cuisinart toaster so I was counting on the quality and integrity. What a waste, we have to pay shipping to return a defective product!
