My original purchase, only two thirds of the heating elements worked. The replacement is worse! The toast comes out nice and brown on one side and hardly anything noticeable on the other. You have to burn one side to get the other brown!

I only have one complaint with this toaster: The Light/Dark adjustment knob turns very easily and extends too far from the side of the toaster. With every use, I have to make sure it is in the proper position. It is too easily bumped by other items placed near it. The knob should either be recessed, or have detents so it is not so easily moved.

It’s just perfect! Like an old fashioned toaster with added features for bagels/thick slices of bread, frozen, etc. Easy to operate. Makes great toast and bagels. I appreciate the option to reheat because sometimes one slice of toast cools while I am buttering the first.
