After reading product reviews for many toasters, we settled on the Cuisinart. It seemed to have the features we needed at a price we were willing to pay. Nothing fancy - just the thing to toast 2 slices of bread without burning them. The toaster can also accomodate bagels, which we appreciate.

This little toaster is a replacement for our larger 4 slice toaster which finally bit the dust. Now that our children are grown and out on their own this toaster was a perfect fit for us and it has more features than our previous toaster
