This little toaster is a replacement for our larger 4 slice toaster which finally bit the dust. Now that our children are grown and out on their own this toaster was a perfect fit for us and it has more features than our previous toaster

Thank you for this request for a review. I have contemplated writing to YOU. I have a problem with my toaster. One side of the bread is too brown, while the other side is not toasted enough. I have adjusted the temp knob several times but get the same result. I would really like to exchange it, if possible. I will answer the questions below in view of my comment here. After reading product reviews for many toasters, we settled on the Cuisinart. It seemed to have the features we needed at a price we were willing to pay. Nothing fancy - just the thing to toast 2 slices of bread without burning them. The toaster can also accomodate bagels, which we appreciate.
