We bought this about 1 month ago. This is the third one of the same model. We love it but it does toast a little bit uneven. The orther,s did too so that is why we bought a new one. It is much better, but not perfect.

I bought the unit about 3 months ago and would not buy another. The toasting is uneven and comes out different if you compare bread slices placed in each slot.
All the manufacture needs to do is adjust the wires in each slot correctly and the unit would work properly. They will not but can adjust the wires consistently to obtain an even toasting when it is built. This is not rocket science.
