[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toaster is a perfect downsizing from our old 4 slice toaster. It's size frees up space on the counter, it has more control features, and minimizes the surface area of metal that is prone to discoloration as it ages.

Took a moment to figure out our perfect settings (I like darker toast then hubby). Now I can make perfect toast and bagels for each of our likings. Can't wait to try the frozen and reheat options.

I bought this to replace the same model toaster that is now nine years old and only toasts one side of the bread. The new toaster was only marginally better than my old one, toasting properly on one side and barely warming the other side of the bread. Very disappointed because Cuisinart had been a most trusted brand.
